History of Mykonos

How to Get to Mykonos

Ferry from Athens to Mykonos

The transfer by ferry is made from the ports of Piraeus and Rafina. Piraeus Port is only an 18-minute drive from the city of Athens, while Rafina is a 43-minute drive. Ferry hours may vary, however, the Blue Star departs daily around 07:30 am.

Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos) offers daily flights throughout the year to the island of Mykonos, in high season they can depart up to 12 flights per day.

At least 4 airlines offer flights from Athens to Mykonos, however, tickets sell out quickly in high season. As an additional option are private (charter) flights and some direct flights from abroad. British airline has routes from London to Mykonos (direct flight).
