Upon our arrival at Amsterdam’s airport, we will enjoy a comfortable transfer to our hotel, nestled in the heart of the city. After settling in, the rest of the day is ours to begin discovering this charming capital at our own pace.
As we wander through quiet alleys and across graceful bridges, we may feel the city gently revealing itself — in the reflection of the canals, the rhythm of passing bicycles, and the soft glow of old streetlamps. A stroll through Dam Square, framed by the Royal Palace and lively cafés, offers a perfect first glimpse into Amsterdam’s unique blend of history and modern life.
In the evening, you can visit the famous Red Light District, where history, controversy, and curiosity intertwine in one of the city's most iconic areas.
Greca Tip: For your first evening, consider dining along one of the city’s scenic canals and trying a traditional stamppot — a comforting Dutch classic that feels like a warm welcome from the north.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, a day of discovery in the vibrant heart of Amsterdam awaits. In the morning, you will make your own way to the meeting point to join a guided walking tour, offering a unique perspective on the city—an engaging blend of deep history and pure entertainment.
Over the course of approximately 2.5 hours, an expert guide will lead us through the most iconic sights of the historic center, from its humble beginnings as a muddy village on the banks of the Amstel River to its rise as Europe’s trading capital. As we walk through streets filled with secrets, we’ll hear stories rarely found in guidebooks: the evolution of the Red Light District, the country’s tolerant drug policies, and the moving legacy of Anne Frank and the Nazi occupation.
In the afternoon, you may choose to unwind in the peaceful surroundings of Vondelpark, or explore De Pijp, a lively neighborhood full of local flavor, indie shops, and cozy cafés. A highly recommended experience is a canal cruise, offering a serene and unforgettable view of Amsterdam from the water.
As night falls, we suggest heading to De Jordaan for dinner. With its narrow streets and artistic soul, this charming district is ideal for a relaxed meal in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Greca Tip: If you decide to take the canal cruise, be sure to book in advance—especially during peak season—to secure a good time slot and the best seats.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will have a full day at your leisure to explore the many charms of Amsterdam, a city that beautifully blends history, art, and modern vibrancy.
We suggest beginning with a visit to the Rijksmuseum, one of the world’s most important art museums, where you can admire masterpieces by Rembrandt, Vermeer, and other Dutch Golden Age painters. If you enjoy art, you might also consider the Van Gogh Museum, showcasing the life and works of this iconic artist, or the Stedelijk Museum, known for its impressive collection of modern and contemporary art.
For a completely different experience, the Heineken Experience offers a fun and interactive look at the brewing process, complete with tastings and a lively atmosphere—a perfect way to enjoy a taste of local culture.
If you wish to experience Amsterdam like a local, consider renting a bicycle. Cycling through the city’s charming streets and along its picturesque canals is a delightful way to see hidden corners, explore lively neighborhoods, and feel the true rhythm of Amsterdam.
During your free time, you may also enjoy a relaxing coffee break at one of the city’s quaint cafés, or visit the local markets to discover Dutch cheeses, stroopwafels, and other traditional treats.
Greca Tip: Take a moment to stroll along the canals and bridges in the early evening—Amsterdam’s canals glow beautifully at sunset, offering the perfect opportunity for memorable photos and a peaceful end to your day.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we’ll make our own way to the meeting point at De Ruijterkade 153, 1011AC Amsterdam, to set off on a journey to discover the most authentic side of the Netherlands—the one of green meadows, windmills, and picturesque villages that seem frozen in time.
Accompanied by our English-speaking guide, we’ll travel through the Waterland region, exploring three iconic symbols of Dutch culture: windmills, cheese, and water.
Our adventure begins in Zaanse Schans, an open-air museum that recreates a 17th-century industrial landscape dotted with traditional windmills and wooden houses. We’ll continue to Edam, world-famous for its cheese but also admired for its beautiful canals and charming streets, whose historic center was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
On the way to Volendam, we’ll stop at a local cheese farm to learn about traditional cheese-making techniques and enjoy a tasting of exquisite Dutch cheeses. Once in Volendam, we’ll stroll along its old pier, savor local fish specialties, and admire the engineering marvel of the IJsselmeer.
Our final stop will be Marken, a former fishing island now connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway. Its colorful wooden houses and peaceful atmosphere make it one of the most picturesque corners of the country.
Greca Tip: Don’t leave Marken without tasting a fresh stroopwafel, a traditional Dutch caramel-filled waffle that perfectly pairs with a hot coffee overlooking the harbor.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast in Amsterdam, we invite you to discover a city that captivates with its authenticity and serene beauty.
This morning, make your own way to Amsterdam Centraal Station to board the train to Utrecht at the scheduled time. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes, offering a comfortable ride through the transition from urban landscapes to the charming Dutch countryside. For greater convenience, you may opt to add private transfer service to and from the train station in Amsterdam.
Upon arrival, you’ll find yourself in a city that moves at the rhythm of its bicycles and revolves around its most beloved symbol—the Dom Tower, proudly rising above a lively historic center. Stroll along canals lined with underground terraces, discover bookshops hidden in former monasteries, and enjoy local boutiques, soulful cafés, and small museums that tell stories of centuries past.
For a different view of the city, you may choose an optional canal cruise, gliding past floating gardens, old docks, and centuries-old wharves now transformed into cultural spaces. We also recommend visiting the Museum Speelklok, dedicated to self-playing musical instruments, or the Rietveld Schröder House, a masterpiece of modern architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the afternoon, when you feel that Utrecht has revealed its peaceful and refined soul, make your way to Utrecht Centraal Station to board your train back to Amsterdam, where you can relax and get ready for another exciting day.
Once back in Amsterdam, return to your hotel on your own or opt for a comfortable private transfer, available as an optional service during booking.
Greca Tip: In Utrecht, take a moment to sit at a terrace along the Oudegracht canal and enjoy a slice of homemade appeltaart (Dutch apple pie) with a local coffee. There’s no better way to feel, even for a moment, like a true local.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast in Amsterdam, the day is all yours. We invite you to live it at your own pace—exploring museums, wandering through the city’s most characterful neighborhoods, or simply sitting at a canal-side terrace watching life go by.
If you wish to add an unforgettable experience to your trip, we offer an optional full-day excursion to Bruges, in the Flemish region of Belgium.
Should you choose this charming experience, you will head to the designated meeting point to depart by private coach toward this magical city, located about three hours away. Along the journey, our English-speaking guide will share fascinating insights about the landscapes and regions we pass through.
Upon arrival, Bruges will take your breath away with its perfectly preserved medieval charm—brick houses, stone bridges, cobbled streets, and towers that seem to touch the sky. It’s no wonder it’s known as the “Venice of the North.” During a one-hour guided walking tour in small groups, we’ll explore its most iconic corners and discover why it has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Afterward, you’ll have free time to savor fresh mussels, taste exquisite Belgian chocolate, enjoy a craft beer, or perhaps embark on a leisurely canal cruise through this storybook setting.
By the end of the day, we’ll return to Amsterdam, our hearts full of images and emotions from this unforgettable day.
If you prefer to stay in Amsterdam and enjoy a more authentic experience, we recommend discovering the city by bicycle, just like the locals do. With its excellent cycling infrastructure, you’ll move around easily while uncovering charming corners beyond the usual tourist routes. Ride along the historic canals, cross the wrought-iron bridges, and pause at one of the many cafés with outdoor terraces.
You may explore the Jordaan district, a bohemian area filled with art galleries, independent designer shops, and cozy bars. Or perhaps head to Vondelpark, the city’s largest park—perfect for relaxing among lakes, sculptures, and greenery. For a touch of culture, stop by Museumplein, home to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, and Stedelijk Museum.
As evening falls, take a stroll through the lively De Pijp neighborhood, brimming with international flavors, or visit the Albert Cuyp Market, where you can sample local treats like freshly made stroopwafels or marinated herring.
Greca Tip: For an even more local experience, visit a traditional brown café—cozy Dutch pubs with dim lighting and dark wood interiors—perfect for ending the day with a craft beer and good conversation.

We will enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel, filling ourselves with energy to savor our final hours in Amsterdam.
Then, depending on the time of your flight, you will have some free time to stroll through your favorite spots, purchase a special souvenir, or simply sit at a terrace and watch the vibrant life of the city unfold.
At the appointed time, a comfortable transfer will take us to the airport, ensuring a worry-free farewell and timely arrival for our flight, hoping you have gathered unforgettable memories from your journey with Greca.
If you wish to extend this experience, we offer the possibility to add extra nights at the hotel, so you can continue exploring Amsterdam peacefully and at your own pace.
Greca Tip: Amsterdam is a city that always invites you to return. Take the opportunity to plan your next visit and discover even more of its hidden magic.
