Upon your arrival at Incheon International Airport, you will be greeted by your driver and transferred comfortably to the heart of Seoul. As the city unfolds before you on the way, notice how tradition and modernity coexist—gleaming skyscrapers rising alongside ancient palaces and tranquil temples.
The rest of the day is at your leisure, giving you time to rest after your journey or to take a first gentle stroll through the streets of this vibrant capital, where every corner reveals a story waiting to be discovered.
In the evening, return to your hotel to unwind and prepare for the adventures that lie ahead. Overnight stay in Seoul, where your Korean journey begins.
Greca Tip: If energy allows, visit the lively Myeongdong district in the evening. Its glowing neon signs, street food stalls, and buzzing shops will give you a taste of Seoul’s endless energy.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we begin our day by immersing ourselves in the spiritual heart of Seoul with a visit to Jogyesa Temple, the center of Korean Zen Buddhism, known for its centuries-old gingko trees and peaceful atmosphere.
We then continue to the grand Gyeongbokgung Palace where we witness the vibrant Royal Guard Changing Ceremony, a colorful reenactment of ancient Joseon-era traditions. Our morning continues with a visit to the National Folk Museum, which offers a fascinating insight into Korea’s cultural evolution through everyday artifacts and historical reconstructions.
Before lunch, we make a short stop at a Korean Ginseng Center or Amethyst shop, both emblematic elements of local craftsmanship and tradition.
In the afternoon, we head to the Korean Folk Village, an expansive open-air museum featuring more than 260 traditional houses from various provinces, along with folk performances and demonstrations that bring Korea’s past to life.
As evening approaches, we return to the hotel, where we can unwind and reflect on the day’s discoveries.
Greca Tip: For a meaningful keepsake, look for traditional Korean “bokjumeoni” pouches—thought to bring good fortune throughout your journey.

After enjoying a delightful breakfast at your hotel, we meet our guide at 07:30 in the lobby before joining the rest of the group at Gwanghwamun, where our journey into Korea’s ancient past truly begins.
We travel south to Gongju, once a proud capital of the Baekje Kingdom. Our morning unfolds with a visit to the Tomb of King Muryeong (UNESCO), an extraordinary archaeological discovery that revealed royal treasures untouched for more than 1,500 years. We then explore Gongsanseong Fortress (UNESCO), a graceful mountaintop citadel offering sweeping views and a glimpse into Baekje-era defensive architecture.
In the afternoon, we continue to Jeonju, the cultural heart of traditional Korea. Here we wander through the charming Jeonju Hanok Village, home to over 700 beautifully preserved wooden houses that reflect centuries of Korean craftsmanship and lifestyle.
As the day draws to a close, we settle into our hotel, where a peaceful evening invites us to rest and absorb the richness of today’s journey.
Greca Tip: Don’t miss tasting Jeonju’s famous bibimbap—considered the most authentic version of this iconic Korean dish.

After enjoying breakfast at our hotel, we begin our journey toward the southwest of the country, heading to Gwangju, a city known as the cultural and artistic capital of the Honam region. Here we visit the May 18th National Cemetery, a solemn memorial honoring the victims of the 1980 Democratization Movement—an event that shaped modern Korean history and continues to inspire artists, including BTS member J-Hope, who references it in his song "Ma City."
Later, we continue to Suncheon, a city celebrated for its harmony between urban life and nature. We explore the expansive Suncheon Bay National Garden, a beautifully designed ecological park showcasing diverse landscapes from around the world. (On the last Monday of each month, this visit is replaced with the Nagan Eupseong Folk Village or the Suncheon Drama Set, depending on availability.)
Our afternoon concludes in the romantic coastal city of Yeosu, where we stroll through the lively Yi Sun-shin Plaza, dedicated to Korea’s most legendary naval hero.
As evening falls, we retreat to our hotel, enjoying a calm and restorative end to this inspiring day.
Greca Tip: In Yeosu, try tasting the city’s famous grilled oysters—an authentic local delicacy enjoyed by seaside travelers.

After enjoying breakfast at our hotel, we set out toward the historic city of Jinju, where we explore the imposing Jinjuseong Fortress, a stronghold deeply connected to Korea’s resistance during the Japanese invasions of 1592. Its ancient walls and river views help us imagine the courage of the defenders who shaped this chapter of Korean history.
We then continue to dynamic Busan (about 1.5 hours), and begin discovering the lively spirit of Busan, starting with Jagalchi Market and BIFF Square, the bustling heart of the old downtown where seafood vendors and cinema culture blend effortlessly.
In the afternoon, we head to the famous Haeundae Beach and stroll through the serene trails of Dongbaek Park, where ocean views and nature surround us.
As the day draws to a close, we travel onward to Gyeongju, the ancient capital of the Silla Kingdom, and settle into our hotel, where the calm atmosphere offers a pleasant end to an enriching journey.
Greca Tip: In Busan, don’t miss trying hotteok stuffed with seeds—one of the city’s most beloved street snacks.

After enjoying breakfast at our hotel, we begin the morning immersed in the spiritual heritage of ancient Korea. Our first visit is the Seokguram Grotto (UNESCO), a masterpiece of 8th-century Buddhist art created during the reign of King Gyeong-Deok. Inside its stone sanctuary, the serene Buddha statue seems to watch over the mountains and sea, offering a moment of reflection.
We continue to the magnificent Bulguksa Temple (UNESCO), the iconic jewel of the Silla Kingdom. Its graceful architecture and stone terraces embody the pinnacle of Korean Buddhist craftsmanship, admired by visitors from around the world.
Our journey then leads us to Andong (approx. 2h30), where we explore Hahoe Village (UNESCO)—a living cultural treasure that preserves the architecture and clan-village traditions of the Joseon Dynasty. This charming settlement gained global recognition after the visit of Queen Elizabeth II.
In the afternoon, we travel toward Pyeongchang (approx. 2h30), renowned as the host city of the 2018 Winter Olympics. Upon arrival, we settle into our hotel, where the tranquil mountain environment invites us to unwind after a culturally rich day.
Greca Tip: In Andong, try the famous Andong jjimdak—braised chicken with vegetables and soy sauce, a comforting specialty cherished across Korea.

After enjoying a delightful breakfast at your hotel, we will begin our morning with a scenic drive through the venues of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games, a remarkable setting that showcases Korea’s recent global legacy.
We then continue toward Sokcho, where we will enter the magnificent Seoraksan National Park, designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve for its exceptional biodiversity. The jagged peaks of the Seoraksan Mountains rise above the clouds, while jade-colored streams flow gently through its valleys, creating one of Korea’s most breathtaking natural landscapes. Here, you may choose to take the cable car up to Gwongeumseong Fortress (optional), offering unforgettable panoramic views.
Please note that during the peak month of October, bus access may be restricted. In such cases, vehicles must park at C District Square, requiring a 3.6 km walk to the park entrance. Because of these seasonal limitations, the visit to Seoraksan National Park may not always be possible.
In the afternoon, we will return to Seoul, arriving at the Donghwa Duty Free Shop Building around 17:00.
Once the day’s explorations conclude, you will settle back into your hotel, enjoying a peaceful evening to reflect on the beauty experienced throughout the journey.
Greca Tip: For a perfect end to the day, take a gentle walk around the Gwanghwamun area. Its blend of modern architecture, cultural landmarks, and atmospheric cafés creates a memorable snapshot of Seoul at its finest.

After breakfast at the hotel, your Korean adventure comes to a gentle close. At the agreed time—usually about four hours before your flight—your driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby and escort you to Incheon Airport. This peaceful transfer allows you to reflect on the vibrant culture, stunning landscapes, and unforgettable experiences you have enjoyed throughout your journey in Korea.
Greca Tip: Keep a small snack or bottle of water handy for your airport transfer, and take a moment to capture one last photo of the city skyline as a keepsake of your Korean memories.
