Upon arrival at Larnaca International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

In addition to being home to Cyprus' second most important port, Larnaca is a popular tourist destination offering excellent restaurants and a beautiful urban beach.

The city's historic center is home to remarkable landmarks, including the Larnaca Fort, whose museum explains the fortress's former role as an execution site. You can also visit the Church of Saint Lazarus, a 9th-century spiritual landmark believed to house the tomb of the biblical figure Lazarus.

Greca Tip: Cyprus is known as the "Island of Cats." According to legend, Saint Helena of Constantinople, Empress of the Roman Empire, sent ships loaded with cats to the island to help eliminate the snakes that had overrun the region at the time.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will meet our guide to begin a fascinating journey through Larnaca, one of the oldest and most charming cities in Cyprus.

Our first stop will be the Pierides Museum, where we will discover part of the island's rich archaeological and cultural heritage. We will then continue to some of the city's most iconic landmarks, including the Winged Lion of Venice, the statue of Zeno of Citium, founder of the Stoic school of philosophy, and the bust of the Athenian general Cimon. We will also admire the Medieval Castle of Larnaca, the historic Kamares Aqueduct, and the Faneromeni Church, all from the outside.

The highlight of the city tour will be a visit inside the Church of Saint Lazarus, one of Cyprus' most important religious monuments. Built in the 9th century, it is believed to stand over the second tomb of the biblical figure Lazarus.

We will then enjoy lunch at a traditional taverna, where we will have the opportunity to savor authentic Cypriot cuisine.

In the afternoon, we will travel to the picturesque village of Lefkara, world-renowned for its exquisite Lefkaritika lace, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. As we stroll through its charming stone-paved streets, we will visit the Traditional Embroidery and Silversmith Museum and learn about the legend that Leonardo da Vinci visited Lefkara to purchase lace for the high altar of Milan Cathedral.

We will also enjoy a tasting of loukoumi, the traditional Cypriot sweet made from starch and sugar, while continuing to explore the authentic atmosphere of the village. The visit also includes entry to the Church of the Holy Cross, home to a revered relic believed to be part of the True Cross.

To conclude the day, we will take part in an authentic halloumi workshop, where an experienced local cheesemaker will introduce us to the history and traditional production methods of Cyprus' most famous cheese. We will discover the secrets behind this iconic delicacy before enjoying a tasting of freshly prepared halloumi.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotel to relax.

Our first stop will be the charming village of Omodos, one of the island's most beautiful traditional villages. We will stroll through its cobblestone streets before visiting the Monastery of the Holy Cross, one of the oldest monasteries in Cyprus. Its stone architecture, peaceful courtyards, and historic atmosphere make it one of the country's most treasured religious landmarks.

We will then continue to the magnificent Kykkos Monastery, dedicated to the Virgin Mary and home to one of the island's most revered religious icons, believed by many to possess miraculous powers. Besides its spiritual significance, the monastery offers spectacular mountain scenery.

Nearby, we will reach Throni Hill, one of the best panoramic viewpoints in Cyprus. Here we will admire the exterior of the Tomb of Archbishop Makarios III, the island's first president and one of its most respected religious and political leaders, while enjoying breathtaking views over the surrounding highlands.

We will pause to enjoy lunch at a traditional local restaurant, featuring authentic Cypriot flavors.

In the afternoon, we will visit a local winery to discover Cyprus' ancient winemaking tradition, which dates back nearly 6,000 years. During the visit, we will learn about the island's unique grape varieties, vineyard cultivation techniques, and the influence of the Mediterranean climate on local wine production. The experience concludes with a wine tasting, where we will sample a selection of white and red wines, including the renowned Xynisteri variety.

Our first stop will be the legendary Petra tou Romiou (Aphrodite's Rock), a spectacular limestone sea stack believed to be the birthplace of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, who according to mythology emerged from the sea foam at this very spot.

We will then continue to the Paphos Archaeological Park (Nea Paphos), where we will explore the impressive remains of the ancient Greek and Roman civilizations. During our visit, we will admire the remarkably preserved Roman villas and their extraordinary mosaic floors, considered among the finest in the Mediterranean.

Next, we will visit the Tombs of the Kings, an impressive underground necropolis dating back to the Hellenistic period, where members of the Ptolemaic aristocracy were laid to rest in monumental rock-cut tombs.

Our tour will continue with an exterior view of the iconic Paphos Castle, a fortress that has witnessed centuries of history under Byzantine, Lusignan, Venetian, and Ottoman rule.

After our breakfast, we will embark on a unique journey in Nicosia, a city divided between the Republic of Cyprus (the Greek part) and the Republic of Northern Cyprus, recognized only by Turkey. We will discover the best of both sides on a captivating journey through history.

We will begin by diving into the past at the Cyprus Museum, the largest and oldest archaeological jewel on the island. The imposing Venetian walls and the majestic Famagusta Gate, which have witnessed great events since the 16th century, will unfold before our eyes. We will advance towards the Archbishop's Palace, where an impressive collection of religious icons awaits our admiration.

We will cross the main square of Eleftheria to enter northern Cyprus. We'll explore original Christian and Muslim places of worship, such as the 11th-century Cathedral of St. John the Theologian and the Selimiye Mosque (formerly St. Sophia Cathedral).

In the ancient city, we will culminate our tour at the charming Great Inn, also known as Büyük Han, the largest caravanserai on the island. Its merchants will tempt us with traditional Cypriot crafts, giving you a unique experience in this fascinating crossroads of cultures.

Our first stop will be the Othello Castle, which we will admire from the outside. Built in the 14th century, this medieval fortress is closely associated with William Shakespeare's famous tragedy Othello, which is set in a Cypriot port.

We will then continue to the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque, originally built as a magnificent Gothic cathedral in the 13th century. One of Famagusta's most iconic monuments, it reflects the city's rich and diverse history through its remarkable architecture.

Next, we will visit the archaeological site of Salamis, one of the most important ancient city-kingdoms of Cyprus. As we explore its impressive ruins, we will discover the legacy left behind by the Phoenicians, Assyrians, Greeks, Persians, Macedonians, Romans, and Ottomans, who all played a role in shaping its history.

Our journey continues to the Monastery of Saint Barnabas, founded in the 5th century and now home to an Icon Museum and an Archaeological Museum, offering valuable insight into the island's religious and cultural heritage.

Later, we will visit Varosha, the famous Ghost Town, viewed from the outside. Once one of the Mediterranean's most glamorous seaside resorts and a favorite destination of international celebrities before 1974, it now stands as one of Cyprus' most striking reminders of the island's modern history.

During the excursion, we will enjoy lunch at a traditional taverna, featuring a delicious Seafood Mezze prepared with fresh local fish and seafood.

If weather conditions permit, we will stop at a beautiful beach, where you will have free time to relax and enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean.

At the end of the day, we will return to the hotel to relax.
