After you arrive at the Prague-Václav Havel International Airport, one of our vehicles will be waiting to transport you to your hotel.

Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is a city of great history and architectural beauty. Founded in the 9th century, it was the capital of the Holy Roman Empire and the Kingdom of Bohemia.

With its famous Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and Old Town Square, Prague has witnessed key events, from the reign of Charles IV to the Velvet Revolution in 1989. Its medieval, baroque, and Renaissance architecture makes it a historical and cultural gem in the heart of Europe.

In the afternoon, you will meet your fellow travelers and tour director for a welcome drink.

Greca Tip: The Czech Republic is famous for its beer, and in Prague, you can enjoy several local brands. Order a "pivo" to try a fresh and delicious Czech beer.

After a hearty breakfast, you will start the day exploring the Royal Castle of Hradcany. Here, you'll visit the impressive Cathedral of St. Vitus, known for its stunning Gothic architecture and vibrant stained glass windows. Next, you'll tour the Old Royal Palace, a symbol of Czech statehood for over a thousand years.

The itinerary also includes the Basilica of St. George, the oldest surviving church building within the castle complex, and the charming Golden Lane, famous for its colorful, tiny houses and the legendary Daliborka Tower.

Continuing your journey, you'll head to the Old Town Square, where you can admire the famous Astronomical Clock, a medieval masterpiece of technology and art that presents an hourly show of moving figures.

In the Jewish Quarter, you'll learn about the rich history and culture of the Jewish community in Prague. The St. Nicholas Church, with its beautiful baroque architecture, and the iconic Charles Bridge, lined with statues and offering breathtaking views of the city, are also highlights of your day.

The rest of the day is at your leisure, giving you time to explore the city at your own pace or relax and enjoy a cup of coffee at one of the many charming cafes.

Greca Tip: While in Prague, savor the traditional Czech dish, "Svíčková" (marinated beef with creamy sauce and dumplings), and enjoy a pint of world-renowned Czech beer. It's a culinary experience you won't want to miss!

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we travel to Vienna, renowned as the "City of Waltz." Vienna earned this nickname due to its rich musical heritage and association with the waltz, a dance that flourished here in the 19th century. The city was home to famous composers like Johann Strauss II, whose compositions popularized the waltz and shaped Vienna’s musical legacy.

Upon arrival, you have free time to start discovering the city’s many delights. Whether you're interested in shopping at elegant boutiques, admiring the city's stunning architecture, or indulging in delectable pastries, Vienna has something for everyone. Enjoy your overnight stay in this vibrant city, rich with history and culture.

Greca Tip: Don't miss trying a slice of the famous Viennese dessert, Sachertorte, a rich chocolate cake with a layer of apricot jam. Pair it with a traditional Viennese coffee for the perfect culinary treat!

After a scrumptious breakfast, we start the day with a visit to St. Stephen’s Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture with its stunning tiled roof and impressive bell tower. Next, we explore the Hofburg Palace, the former imperial residence of the Habsburg Dynasty. The Habsburgs ruled Austria and much of Central Europe for over six centuries, shaping much of the region's history and culture.

We then proceed to view Belvedere Palace, a beautiful baroque complex that now serves as an art museum showcasing Austrian art, including works by Gustav Klimt. From there, we visit the Prater Amusement Park, famous for its historic Ferris wheel and wide range of entertainment options. Finally, we’ll see the UN Buildings, where international diplomacy takes place.

The afternoon is free, allowing you to explore Vienna at your own pace or relax.

Optional: Enjoy an evening classical concert featuring the music of Strauss and Mozart, two of Vienna's most famous composers.

Greca Tip: If you have the chance, we highly recommend attending the optional evening concert to experience Vienna's rich musical heritage. It's a perfect way to immerse yourself in the city's cultural essence.

After a hearty breakfast, we depart for Budapest, with a stop in Bratislava on the way.

In Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, you’ll have the opportunity to explore its charming Old Town, known for its medieval architecture and vibrant atmosphere. Highlights include the iconic Bratislava Castle, which offers panoramic views of the city and the Danube River, and the picturesque streets lined with colorful buildings and historic landmarks.

Dinner will be served at your hotel in Budapest, where you can relax and enjoy a meal after a day of exploration.

NOTE: In winter departures the dinner could be the second day in Budapest.

Greca Tip: While in Bratislava, consider picking up a traditional Slovak souvenir such as hand-painted ceramics, intricate wooden carvings, or local folk art. These unique items make for memorable keepsakes from your visit to the city.

After a delightful breakfast, the sightseeing tour will include views of Budapest’s main attractions.

You'll see the Parliament Building, an architectural marvel on the Danube River. Visit the Royal Palace on Castle Hill, which offers panoramic views of the city. Explore Fisherman’s Bastion, known for its fairytale-like towers and stunning vistas.

The tour also includes the Matthias Church, a historic church with a striking tiled roof, and Heroes’ Square, dedicated to the leaders of Hungary’s national history. Finally, enjoy views from Gellert Hill and its Citadel, which provide breathtaking perspectives of Budapest.

The rest of the day is free, allowing you to explore the “Paris of the East” at your own pace. You might want to shop along the Váci Utca, enjoy a delicious slice of apple strudel, or sip some Hungarian wine.

After a delightful breakfast and at the designated time, you'll be transferred to Budapest airport to board your next flight.
