Dubrovnik, Hvar, and Split in 7 days

Upon arrival at Dubrovnik airport, a person of our team will be waiting for transfer you to your hotel in one of our private vehicles. The rest of the day will be to relax and enjoy the city at your own pace.

Dubrovnik, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic" for being one of the most beautiful cities in the Mediterranean, has been listed as a World Heritage Site since 1979. Dubrovnik means Oak Grove, due to the number of oak trees in the area. The city was dominated by the Byzantines, Venetians, Hungarians, Turks and Austrians.

Dubrovnik was also one of the cities that suffered the most in the war against Serbia, on December 6, 1991 more than 2000 bombs fell on it, that is why most of its houses are newly built. The old city is surrounded by a great medieval wall that houses 16 towers and is one of the great attractions of the city.

Dubrovnik is a walled city dating back to the 7th century, full of contrasts and fusion that continues to enchant its visitors. Strolling within the walled area, we will reminisce about hundreds of years of history. Its walls and towers are considered the main attraction of the city, and from there we can capture breathtaking panoramic photos.

You shouldn't miss a visit to the Church of St. Blaise (1715), located in the heart of the city, the Stradun Street, the main artery of the city, where we will find bars and shops, and also the Franciscan Monastery and its church (14th century), home to the oldest pharmacy in the world.

To further explore the city's history, we recommend visiting the Sponza Palace, which dates back to the 16th century. We can also take a funicular ride to Mount Srđ to enjoy the views and have a good cup of coffee.

After enjoying a fabulous breakfast at your hotel, you'll bid farewell to Dubrovnik and head towards Drvenik to catch a ferry to Sucuraj (approximately 15 minutes journey), on the island of Hvar.

Hvar is the longest island in the Adriatic and incredibly beautiful, dotted with virgin forests, white sandy beaches, vineyards, and lavender fields.

Also known as a destination for newlywed couples, it is the oldest tourist center on the Dalmatian coast. The charm of its city lies in the blend of architectural styles, Gothic, Renaissance, and the prominence given by the Venetian aristocracy.

You'll travel across the island to the city of Hvar, where you'll be staying.

After enjoying our breakfast, we begin a day to let ourselves be carried away by Hvar’s natural charm, known as the sunniest island in the Adriatic. Mild in winter, warm in summer, and blessed with countless hours of sunshine, Hvar reveals a picture-perfect Mediterranean landscape: lavender fields and vineyards tracing the horizon, gently descending from white pine forests down to crystal-clear bays and pale stone beaches.

In the morning, you may explore inland villages, follow scenic routes, or visit local wineries to discover the region’s wines. In the afternoon, it is ideal to relax in a hidden cove, take a boat trip to the Pakleni Islands, or simply enjoy the chic atmosphere of the harbor and its seaside cafés.

At the end of the day, we return to the hotel to rest. Accommodation in Hvar.

Greca Tip: Try a dish of fresh fish paired with local Plavac Mali wine—it is one of the most authentic gastronomic experiences on the island.

After a delicious breakfast, we will be transferred to the port to board a ferry or catamaran that will take us back to Split, where we will be greeted and transferred to our accommodation.

We will have the rest of the day free to continue enjoying the charm of this magnificent city, visit anything we haven't seen yet, or revisit our favorite spots, including the Diocletian's Palace, the most important monument that gave rise to the current city of Split.

You will start your day with a delicious breakfast to recharge your energy and thus enjoy your free day in the beautiful city of Split, the capital of the Dalmatia region.

In recent years, the city has emerged as one of the country's premier tourist destinations, drawing visitors from far and wide to explore its rich history and stunning Adriatic coastline. As you stroll along its picturesque medieval streets, you'll encounter a plethora of historically, architecturally, and culturally significant landmarks, many of which are nestled within the walls of Diocletian's Palace.

Commissioned by Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century as a retreat for his twilight years, this architectural marvel fell into disuse in the 6th century before being repurposed by the locals, transforming it into the vibrant heart of the city. 

Today, the Roman edifices house a vibrant array of homes, boutiques, and eateries, offering visitors an immersive journey through time. Don't miss the chance to explore the revered "Golden Gate", which marks the grand entrance to this historic complex.

You can also walk and marvel at the constructions located around the central courtyard, called the Peristyle. Another important place to visit is the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, where you will find the Mausoleum of Diocletian. You can also explore the underground passages, which are of great historical importance.

Greca Tip: From the cathedral bell tower, you will have wonderful views of the entire city.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, and at the agreed time, you will take the transfer to Split airport.
