Welcome to Copenhagen, the charming gateway to Scandinavia. Upon arrival at Copenhagen International Airport, a friendly transfer will take you comfortably to your hotel, located in the vibrant heart of the city.
Once settled, take some time to unwind and soak in the atmosphere of this enchanting capital. The day is yours to begin discovering its magic. We suggest a leisurely stroll through Nyhavn, the iconic harbor district known for its colorful façades, serene canals, and inviting cafés. It’s the perfect place to savor your first impressions of Denmark.
As evening falls, consider indulging in a traditional Danish dinner, perhaps trying the famous smørrebrød—open-faced sandwiches that are as delicious as they are artistic.
Greca Tip: For a picture-perfect end to your day, head to Ofelia Plads at sunset. From there, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking view of the harbor and the Copenhagen Opera House, glowing in the golden light.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we begin the day with a richly engaging walking tour through the heart of Copenhagen.
After you arrive to the meeting point at the indicated time, you will be led by one of our expert local guides through the city. This experience offers more than just facts—it’s an invitation to connect with the soul of the Danish capital. Starting from a central location, the walk introduces you to the city's most cherished landmarks while revealing hidden corners often missed by typical visitors.
Over the course of approximately three hours, you will explore Copenhagen’s royal history at Amalienborg Palace, admire the vibrant charm of Nyhavn’s waterfront houses, and enjoy the calm and beauty of the King’s Garden, Denmark’s oldest royal park. Along the way, the tour meanders into quiet backstreets and courtyards that reflect the authentic daily life of the locals.
This is not just about checking off sights; it’s about understanding Copenhagen’s rhythms, from its historic foundations to its dynamic present. Expect stories, context, and connection—a richer, more meaningful way to experience the city.
After the tour, you will have the afternoon for yourself, to continue exploring and discovering this beautiful Nordic city at your own pace.
We suggest visiting Rosenborg Castle, a Renaissance gem surrounded by gardens, which houses the Danish crown jewels along with other valuable royal treasures, enjoy panoramic views from the Round Tower, or simply relax at a traditional café and soak in the Scandinavian atmosphere.
Greca Tip: Please note that the walking tour runs in all weather conditions, so we recommend dressing appropriately for the day’s forecast, with comfortable footwear and a rain jacket or umbrella just in case.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will have the day free to continue exploring Copenhagen at your own pace and discover new facets of this fascinating city.
We suggest starting the day by immersing yourself in the magical atmosphere of the historic Tivoli Gardens, a century-old amusement park filled with blooming gardens, open-air shows, and a dreamlike ambiance that enchants both young and old alike.
If you prefer a cultural experience, the National Museum of Denmark awaits you with a fascinating collection ranging from Viking artifacts to pieces from the country’s modern history. You may also be surprised by the bohemian spirit of Christianshavn, with its picturesque canals, floating homes, and the unique community of Christiania, a self-governed enclave that reveals a different side of the capital.
For those wishing to cross borders, the Øresund Bridge offers the perfect opportunity to take a half-day excursion to Malmö, Sweden, where modern architecture and charming historic streets blend harmoniously.
Another unforgettable way to discover the city is by bicycle—whether on your own or with a guided tour, cycling through Copenhagen allows you to experience the city like a true local, enjoying its excellent bike-friendly infrastructure.
As night falls, we suggest toasting the day with a dinner at one of the contemporary Nordic cuisine restaurants that have made Copenhagen a global gastronomic destination.
Greca Tip: Don’t leave the city without visiting the concept stores in the creative Vesterbro district, where you’ll find Danish design pieces, local crafts, and unique souvenirs that capture the essence of Scandinavian style.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will head on our own to Copenhagen’s central train station to board a comfortable train to Odense, located on the island of Funen. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes and offers beautiful views of the Danish countryside along the way.
Upon arrival in Odense, we will have free time to get to our hotel and settle in, and begin discovering this charming city, the birthplace of the famous writer Hans Christian Andersen. We suggest visiting his House Museum, where you can explore interactive exhibits that tell the story of his life and literary legacy.
You can also stroll through the pedestrian old town, full of cobbled alleys and timber-framed houses that preserve the charm of bygone centuries. For art lovers, the Brandts Museum offers a rich collection of modern and contemporary artworks.
In the afternoon, you may enjoy a relaxing walk through Munke Mose Park or visit the peaceful gardens of the Monastery of Saint Canute. If you prefer to unwind, there are plenty of cafés with terraces where you can soak in the local atmosphere.
Greca Tip: Be sure to visit Storms Pakhus, the city’s vibrant food market, offering a wide range of culinary delights in a creative and laid-back setting—an ideal spot for dinner or an evening drink.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, and at the indicated time, you will need to make your way to the station to take your train to Aarhus, Denmark’s second-largest city and a vibrant cultural hub located on the Jutland Peninsula. The train ride takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, offering scenic views of coastal and rural landscapes as we travel toward this modern university city.
Upon arrival in Aarhus, you will have time to go and settle into the hotel and begin exploring the city at your own pace. We suggest starting with a visit to the fascinating Den Gamle By open-air museum, a reconstructed historical town featuring period houses, traditional workshops, and costumed actors who recreate daily life from centuries past.
You may also want to explore the contemporary ARoS Aarhus Art Museum, renowned for its colorful circular rooftop walkway, Your Rainbow Panorama, which offers panoramic views of the city through vibrant glass. The museum houses one of Northern Europe’s leading collections of modern and contemporary art.
In the afternoon, we recommend a walk along the Aarhus harbor, a revitalized area with cutting-edge architecture, waterside restaurants, and green spaces perfect for relaxing. If you wish, you can also visit Aarhus Cathedral, the longest church in Denmark, or explore the lively Latin Quarter, known for its alternative cafés and local design boutiques.
Greca Tip: For an authentic Danish food experience, try a traditional “smørrebrød” made with fresh local ingredients at the Aarhus Street Food Market, located near the station—a perfect spot to enjoy great flavors in a vibrant and casual atmosphere.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will have the day to continue exploring the many attractions that Aarhus offers—a city where innovation and history coexist in perfect harmony.
We suggest starting the morning with a visit to the Aarhus Botanical Garden, a large urban park ideal for strolling among tropical greenhouses, themed gardens, and shaded walking paths. Very close by is the Moesgaard Museum, one of the most prestigious archaeological museums in Europe, whose architecture blends seamlessly into the landscape and is a highlight in itself. Here, you can learn about the region's history from the Iron Age to the Viking era.
Another interesting option is to explore the modern district of Aarhus Ø, a former port area transformed into a cutting-edge residential neighborhood, featuring iconic buildings like The Iceberg and pleasant waterfront promenades. You can also take advantage of the time for some shopping or simply relax at a terrace café before heading back.
In the afternoon, you will make your way to Aarhus station to board your train back to Copenhagen (a journey of approximately 3 hours), crossing the country from west to east—a perfect opportunity to rest while enjoying the Danish landscape through the window. You may add private transfers to and from Aarhus and Copenhagen's train station, during step 1 of your booking.
Upon arrival in Copenhagen, we will check back into our hotel and have free time for a quiet dinner or a final evening stroll through the city.
Greca Tip: If you’d like to enjoy a special farewell dinner, book a table in one of the restaurants in the Nørrebro district, a multicultural and vibrant area known for its creative cuisine and youthful atmosphere.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will have free time until the scheduled transfer to Copenhagen Airport, where we will board our return flight.
If your schedule allows, you can take advantage of the final hours to do some last-minute shopping, enjoy one last stroll through the city center, or simply relax at a café overlooking the canal.
For those who wish to extend their trip, we offer the option to add extra nights in Copenhagen or even continue the adventure into Sweden by crossing the famous Øresund Bridge to the city of Malmö, a perfect destination for a cultural or culinary getaway. From there, it is also possible to continue on to other Swedish cities such as Lund or Stockholm, further enriching your Scandinavian experience.
