Welcome to Portugal!
After you arrive at the Lisbon International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day will be to relax and begin to enjoy this breathtaking city with beautiful streets, monumental buildings, and gastronomy that will not disappoint you.
Lisbon is the stunning capital of Portugal and is one of the most charismatic and vibrant cities in Europe. It is a city that effortlessly blends traditional heritage, with striking modernism and progressive thinking.
Greca Tip: Lisbon is probably best known for its colonialist history, ornate architecture, and tradition of Fado music. But some of its best features are in the everyday spectacular hilltop views in Alfama or at St. George's Castle, pleasant year-round weather, and friendly locals.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we set out on a journey into the heart of the Alentejo region, where history breathes through ancient stones and flavors linger on the palate.
Crossing the Tagus River, we travel through a serene landscape dotted with cork oak forests, olive groves, and vineyards, until we reach Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site wrapped in medieval walls and adorned with whitewashed houses.
On a guided walking tour, we’ll uncover the city’s treasures: the imposing Roman Temple, a remnant of ancient times; the Romanesque-Gothic Cathedral, which offers panoramic views from its towers; and the haunting yet fascinating Chapel of Bones, hidden within the Church of São Francisco. We’ll also visit one of the oldest universities in Portugal, rich in academic tradition.
Évora is also a haven for artisans—explore cork products, ceramics, and copper work, all part of the region’s proud heritage. After a traditional Alentejo lunch (not included), known for its bold and earthy flavors, enjoy free time to continue exploring or opt for an exclusive gourmet tasting of local wine, olive oil, and cheese.
Accommodation in Évora.
Greca Tip: Try açorda alentejana, a rustic garlic and cilantro bread soup topped with a poached egg—humble, hearty, and uniquely Alentejo.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a relaxed morning to unwind or take a final stroll through Évora’s peaceful streets before we begin our descent toward the sunny south of Portugal.
Our first destination is Beja, a quiet town that once stood guard over the plains of the Alentejo. Here, we’ll admire the tallest medieval castle tower in Portugal, which offers sweeping views over golden fields and gentle hills.
As we continue south, the scenery transforms—rolling hills give way to citrus-scented valleys, signaling our arrival in the Algarve. We stop in Silves, a town that echoes its Moorish past with an impressive red-stone castle and a legacy deeply rooted in the cork industry.
Before reaching our final stop, we pause at the stunning Praia da Rocha, a beach known for its dramatic cliffs and golden sand—an ideal prelude to our arrival in Lagos, a coastal city with a proud seafaring heritage, once the launching point of many Portuguese explorations.
Accommodation in Lagos.
Greca Tip: In Silves, sip a glass of chilled medronho, a traditional Algarvian spirit made from the fruit of the strawberry tree—strong, authentic, and full of character.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we set off along Portugal’s southern coast, where awe-inspiring landscapes and maritime legends converge.
Our morning begins at Ponta da Piedade, a natural wonder of towering limestone cliffs, grottoes, and sea arches carved by the relentless Atlantic. The view is a masterpiece of light and water, where the golden rocks plunge into turquoise seas.
We then continue to Sagres, a windswept promontory that once stood at the edge of the known world. Here, we’ll visit the site of the nautical school founded by Prince Henry the Navigator, a visionary who helped usher in the Age of Discoveries and expand Portugal’s global reach.
Next, we arrive at the striking Cabo de São Vicente, the southwesternmost point of continental Europe, where the rugged cliffs drop dramatically into the ocean. The sense of vastness and isolation is both humbling and unforgettable.
Returning to Lagos, you’ll have the afternoon free to explore this lively town, where a bustling marina and traditional fishing harbour coexist. Stroll the cobbled streets, indulge in fresh seafood or sample the region’s almond-based sweets under the warm Algarvian sun.

Greca Tip: At Ponta da Piedade, consider a short boat tour to admire the rock formations from sea level—it’s an unforgettable way to witness nature’s artistry.

After enjoying our breakfast at the hotel, we bid farewell to the Algarve and begin our journey north, tracing a scenic route back to Lisbon.
Our first stop is Setúbal, a vibrant coastal city located at the mouth of the Sado River, known for its fishing traditions and stunning views of the Troia Peninsula, with its long stretches of white sand and clear waters. This is a land where nature and urban life blend harmoniously.
We then pass through the Serra da Arrábida Natural Park, a jewel of biodiversity with emerald-green hills, hidden coves, and panoramic viewpoints over the Atlantic. This protected area offers a striking contrast between mountain and sea, with rare Mediterranean vegetation and a peaceful atmosphere.
Crossing the iconic bridge over the Tagus River, we return to the lively capital of Lisbon, bringing our unforgettable journey through Portugal’s most iconic landscapes, towns, and flavors to a close.

Greca Tip: While in Setúbal, don’t miss the chance to taste choco frito—tender strips of fried cuttlefish, a beloved local specialty best enjoyed with lemon and a chilled glass of white wine.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, we will be transfered to Lisbon´s airport.
After spending some fantastic days with Greca, we hope to see you again to enjoy some wonderful moments that will remain forever in your memory.
