After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we begin an enchanting day exploring the heart of Phnom Penh. Our first stop is The Silver Pagoda, also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Its Italian marble steps lead you inside to a mesmerizing floor of over 5,000 silver tiles, collectively weighing nearly six tons, a testament to Cambodia’s rich craftsmanship.

Next, we visit The Royal Palace, built by the French in 1866 on the site of the old town. The highlight is the Throne Room, constructed in 1917 in the traditional Khmer style, with a tiered roof and a 59-meter tower inspired by Angkor Thom’s Bayon Temple. Here, the Silver Pagoda stands proudly within the palace grounds, blending elegance and spiritual heritage.

In the afternoon, we ascend Wat Phnom, perched atop a man-made hill 27 meters high. Built in 1372, this temple houses four Buddha statues said to have been deposited by the waters of the Mekong River, offering a serene spot to reflect on the city’s history and charm.

Along the way, you will see traditional local houses, rice paddies, and glimpses of daily life, offering a true sense of the region’s charm and rhythm.

Upon arrival at the bus station in Siem Reap, our team will welcome you and assist with transfer to the hotel. Take some time to check in and relax, letting the day’s journey settle as you prepare for the adventures ahead. You will spend the night in your comfortable hotel, enjoying a well-deserved rest after the day’s travel.

After savoring a delightful breakfast, set out for a full day immersed in the wonders of the legendary Angkor Archaeological Park, where every temple whispers tales of Cambodia’s majestic past.

We begin at the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument. Its detailed bas-reliefs and soaring spires never fail to captivate, leaving visitors in quiet admiration. Next, continue to the enchanting Ta Prohm, where massive tree roots weave through the stone walls, creating an almost dreamlike scene. This temple, left largely untouched by restoration, perfectly illustrates the delicate balance between nature and human achievement.

After a short return to the hotel for a break, the adventure resumes at Angkor Thom, the “Great City.” Step through the grand South Gate, with its striking stone faces, and make your way to the Victory Gate on the eastern side.

In the afternoon, we will set out to discover one of the region’s most authentic floating villages, where families still live on traditional wooden houseboats. Unlike other communities, this village shifts its location throughout the year depending on the water levels of Tonlé Sap Lake. During the dry season, when waters recede, villagers move closer to shore and rely more on agriculture. A visit to a local home offers us a rare and intimate glimpse into daily life on the lake.

Afterward, we return to the port and continue to the Artisans d’Angkor Silk Farm, just 15 minutes away. Here, underprivileged Cambodians are given the chance to revive the ancient art of silk-making. Guided through the farm, we will learn about every stage of this delicate process, from raising silkworms to weaving exquisite fabrics.

As the day comes to an end, we return to the city enriched with a deeper appreciation of Cambodia’s traditions and craftsmanship.
