Today, you will enjoy a delightful breakfast and prepare for a wonderful day as you discover the city of Athens and its fascinating blend of history and modernity.
During the panoramic tour, you will admire the Athenian Trilogy (National Library, University, and Academy of Athens), the Presidential Mansion, the Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro), where the first modern Olympic Games were held, the Zappeion, the majestic Temple of Olympian Zeus, which for centuries was one of the largest temples in Greece, and Hadrian’s Arch, built in honor of the Roman emperor.
The itinerary includes a visit to the Acropolis, symbol of the classical world and home to the Parthenon, a masterpiece of Greek architecture; the Erechtheion, with its famous Caryatids; and the Temple of Athena Nike, dedicated to the goddess of victory. You will admire the history and legends surrounding these monuments while enjoying panoramic views of Athens from the hill.
The tour concludes at a central point in the city, ideal for continuing to explore Athens at your own pace. Later, you will head at your own rhythm to Monastiraki to join the “Athens by Night” tour, enjoying a walking tour through Plaka and Anafiotika, admiring the illuminated Acropolis, and passing by iconic sites such as Athens Cathedral and Ermou Street, while discovering how the city comes alive under the moonlight.
Greca Tip: At the Acropolis, mythology, architecture, and unique Athens panoramas come together. See how the Parthenon has inspired architects for over two thousand years and discover the stories of the ancient gods and heroes who dwell in these monuments.

The tour begins at Larissa train station in central Athens, where you will board the bus towards Kalambaka station (Meteora) and promptly depart at 08:00.
Enjoy a picturesque journey through the beautiful Greek countryside and in the afternoon (around 12:45 pm) you will arrive in Kalambaka. Your driver will be waiting for you to welcome and transfer you to your hotel.
In the afternoon, our knowledgeable local guide will lead you on a 4-hour sunset adventure in a VIP minibus, showcasing Meteora's stunning rock formations and panoramic viewpoints.
Upon pickup for the sunset tour, the guide will provide information on the audio guide, which is available in English, Spanish, French, and German.
The exploration will start from one of the six operating monasteries of Meteora: Agios Stefanos, Saint Nicholaos, or Roussanou.
You will visit the oldest standing monument, the Byzantine church of the Virgin Mary, located in the old town of Kalambaka. This church, built in the early Christian period and with ancient marble embedded in its walls, tells the story of the city spanning 27 centuries.
You will then head to the ancient hermitages of Badovas, hear about the stories and legends, and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views.
As the sun begins to set, slowly descending upon the mountain ridges, you will climb to the top of the Meteora rocks, a magical place, for a pure, and uninterrupted experience. Up there, you will feel the night breeze blowing amidst these cliffs and fill your senses with the splendor of nature. This is the perfect way to end a beautiful day at Meteora.
After sunset, you will return to your accommodation and enjoy a good rest.
Dress code in the monasteries: Sleeveless shirts and shorts are not permitted. Visitors can use the skirts, shawls, and trousers available at the entrance of the monasteries if they don’t carry appropriate clothing to cover themselves with.
Greca Tip: Roam the maze-like cobblestone lanes of the old center and shop around for local handmade embroidery, leather sandals, and carved wooden handicrafts.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will meet you at the hotel's lobby to begin an unforgettable excursion to Meteora. Discover the first monastery ever built and unravel the intriguing motivations that led monks to scale the precipitous cliffs and construct these remarkable monasteries.
In the panoramic tour that will follow you will enjoy the incredible views and have the chance to take photos of the majestic scenery. At around 16:45 hours, your driver will pick you up to transfer you to Kalambaka train station.
At 17:15 hours, the train will depart from Kalambaka, and at Paleofarsala you will connect to the train bound for Thessaloniki. Upon your arrival in the second largest city of Greece and the most important center of the area, your driver will meet you at the station and drive you to your hotel.
Greca Tip: Take a stroll in Kalambaka's old town and look for handmade wood-carved objects and religious icons as well as home-made sausages, honey, fruit sweets and jams, and the regional pudding called “spatoula” or some “halva” for a sweet aftertaste.

Free day to enjoy this magnificent city. Thessaloniki is the largest city in northern Greece and the second biggest in the country. It is famous for its history, the dazzling shops, and the vibrant nightlife. In the Byzantine era, it was one of the most important cultural centers and in modern Greek history one of the most multicultural cities.
Greca Tip: We recommend taking a boat ride in the Thermaic Gulf, which gives you a great panoramic view of the city itself.

When the time comes, our dedicated vehicle will transport you to the airport, port, or train station, signaling the end of your time in the city.
As the Greca team, we sincerely hope to welcome you back in the future to create more unforgettable moments that will linger in your memories forever.
Have a pleasant journey ahead! Or, as the Greeks say, "Kaló taksídi!"
Greca Tip: If you desire to prolong your stay, you have the option to add extra nights during step 1 of 3 in your reservation process.
