The rest of the day will be to relax and enjoy the city at your own pace.
Marrakech is one of the most important cities in Morocco and one of the four imperial cities along with Meknes, Fez and Rabat. Founded in 1062, it was one of the country's capitals and has the largest traditional market in the region and one of the busiest squares on the continent and in the world.
Greca Tip: If you have free time, the Jemma El-Fna square is one of the places you must visit in Marrakech.

After an exquisite breakfast we will leave early for Ouarzazate (the door of the desert) along the main road that passes through the highest mountain pass in North Africa, the Tizi-n-Tichka (2260 meters), we will pass through incredible landscapes dotted with small towns and vegetation.
You will visit the Kasbah of Telouet, which is located on the old caravan route to the Sahara, and which belonged to one of the most powerful families in the country before the independence of the protectorate and was forgotten and abandoned since the independence of Morocco.
Then we will go to the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, an old obligatory stop for camel caravans, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Considered the most impressive ksar (fortified city) in southern Morocco and the best preserved in the country, which as the sun shines takes on different shades of red depending on the time of day. It has also served as the setting for numerous films.
Finally we will arrive to Ouarzazate, which was a small commercial point in the journey of African merchants to reach the north of Morocco and Europe. During the French colonial period it served as a supply city, administrative center, customs office and base for the French aviation. The most important film studios in Morocco (Atlas Studios), the largest in the world, are also located here.
You will visit the city of Ouarzazate panoramically and rest with a photo session in front of the Kasbah of Taourirt, also a World Heritage Site.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Tip Greca: Visit the Al Mouahidine square in Ouarzazate, a quite busy place full of cafes, restaurants and small shops.

After enjoying our breakfast, we depart from Ouarzazate and head toward Taznakht, a town renowned for its authentic Berber carpets, handcrafted using ancestral techniques and natural dyes that reflect the identity of southern Morocco.
We then continue our journey toward Zagora, traveling through the magical Draa Palm Valley, one of the longest and most fertile valleys in the country. From Agdz onward, the route unfolds along the Draa River, passing through a succession of small villages and endless palm groves that bring life to the desert landscape and reveal the daily rhythm of local communities.
As the scenery gradually transforms into desert horizons, we arrive in Zagora, where the silence and vastness of the surroundings set a truly special atmosphere. At the end of the day, we settle into our nomadic tents, enjoying a traditional dinner under the desert sky before resting.
Greca Tip: In the Draa Valley, look closely at the palm groves—this oasis has been a vital source of life and trade routes linking the Sahara with northern Morocco for centuries.

After enjoying our breakfast, we begin the return journey to Marrakech, retracing part of our route. We pass once again through Ouarzazate until reaching Agdz, where the scenery gradually begins to change.
From there, we continue traveling through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, a lesser-known region that offers striking views, arid landscapes, traditional villages, and panoramas that reveal the most authentic side of Morocco.
As we approach Marrakech, the contrast between the desert and the city becomes increasingly evident, bringing this journey through southern Morocco to a memorable close. At the end of the day, we return to the hotel to enjoy dinner and rest.
Greca Tip: While crossing the Anti-Atlas, notice how the landscape shifts in shape and color; these lesser-traveled mountains reveal an authentic Morocco, perfect for appreciating the country’s natural contrasts at a relaxed pace.

After an exquisite breakfast and at the agreed time, we will be transferred to the Airport of Marrakech.
After spending some fantastic days with Greca, we hope to see you again to enjoy some wonderful moments that will remain forever in your memory.
Have a good trip! Or, as you can say yourself: “Rihlat saeida!”.
