Important: This tour ends at the Taba border. If you wish to return to Cairo, you can add a private transfer, when making your reservation.

From the very moment you land in Egypt, you'll feel the beginning of a journey filled with ancient history and oriental mystique. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a Greca representative will be waiting to give you a warm welcome and assist you with private transfers to your hotel. Along the way, you’ll catch your first glimpse of Cairo’s bustling energy—a vibrant metropolis that blends the ancient and the modern like few others in the world.
Once at the hotel, you’ll have the rest of the day free to rest and acclimate, or to take your first stroll on your own and start soaking in the soul of the city. The streets of Cairo invite you to explore them slowly, surrounded by the aromas of spices, Islamic domes, and the eternal whisper of the Nile.
Greca Tip: If time allows, we recommend a sunset walk along the Nile Corniche, where the city comes alive under golden lights. Try a refreshing karkadé, the traditional hibiscus tea of Egypt.

You will start the day with a delicious breakfast in the hotel dining room.
Then you will start the full-day tour to Cairo where you will visit the most important places of this historic city, starting with the Museum of Art Pharaonic, in the heart of the city where countless artifacts of incalculable value stand out, such as Tutankhamun's treasure, sarcophagi, mummies and sculptures of unimaginable beauty.
Next, you will go to historic Cairo, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and which, since the 10th century, was the area of the Caliphs and their mosques. The Citadel of Saladin stands out, later fortified to defend it from the Crusaders almost a millennium ago.
Afterward, you will visit the Jan El Jalili bazaar, where you will have free time to test your negotiating skills.
Before returning to the hotel, you will personally visit the Coptic neighborhood, with its melting pot of religions and in which the Hanging Church built on the Babylon Fortress stands out, the church of San Sergio where it is believed that the Holy Family took refuge in Egypt when fleeing of Herod and the synagogue of Ben Ezra, one of the oldest in the country.
Optionally, you can also enjoy a Buffet dinner with a show in a floating restaurant on the Nile River at night.
Tip Greca: Don't miss the opportunity to haggle in the bazaar as long as you buy something.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we bid farewell to Cairo and embark on a fascinating journey to the Sinai Peninsula. We will cross the legendary Suez Canal via the Ahmed Hamdy Tunnel, a marvel of engineering that not only connects seas, but also continents: we leave Africa behind and enter Asia.
Along the way, we will stop at Ayun Musa, also known as the Springs of Moses, where tradition places one of the biblical miracles experienced by the people of Israel during the Exodus. Surrounded by the arid desert landscape, this sacred place connects us to centuries of history and spirituality.
We then continue to the peaceful town of Saint Catherine, nestled at the foot of the mountain where, according to tradition, Moses received the Ten Commandments. Upon arrival, we will settle into the hotel, where a comforting dinner and a well-deserved overnight stay await us under the starry Sinai sky.
Greca Tip: In Saint Catherine, don’t forget to look up at the sky at night. The desert’s pure air offers one of the clearest views of the stars you’ll ever experience.

In the stillness of the early morning, we will begin our ascent to Mount Moses, also known as Mount Sinai or Horeb, standing 2,285 meters high. Tradition holds that it was here where the prophet Moses received the Tablets of the Law from God, while the Hebrew people camped at the base of the mountain. From the summit, we’ll witness a breathtaking sunrise, with views of Mount Saint Catherine, the highest peak of the peninsula at 2,637 meters.
Descending the mountain, and if conditions allow, we will visit the Monastery of Saint Catherine, situated at 1,570 meters above sea level. Its Byzantine walls were built between 527 and 565 by order of Emperor Justinian, at the biblical site of the Burning Bush. The monastery is named after Saint Catherine of Alexandria, a martyr whose body, according to legend, was carried by angels and discovered five centuries later on the peak that now bears her name.
It is known as the smallest diocese in the world and the oldest working monastery, home to a library that holds the most ancient manuscripts after the Vatican.
After this spiritual experience, we will return to the hotel for a well-earned breakfast, and at the scheduled time, we will continue to the border point, where the tour comes to an end.
Greca Tip: If you wish to return to Cairo, we recommend booking our private transfer service in advance for a comfortable and secure trip back.
