After arriving at Bilbao Airport, we will be transferred to our hotel. We will have the rest of the day to relax and begin to enjoy this marvelous city.
Bilbao will surprise us with its contrasts, combining the flavor of the avant-garde with the traditional charm of its old town, filled with charming streets and bars with counters full of pintxos, showcasing that here gastronomy is lived with passion. All of this has earned the city a place of honor on the list of Spain's most interesting cities.
Greca Tip: The best panoramic view of Bilbao can be obtained from the Artxanda funicular.

In the morning, after a delicious breakfast, we will have a day free to explore the city.
We can start in Casco Viejo, strolling through its narrow streets and discovering the traditional architecture, the Plaza Nueva, and the Santiago Cathedral.
Next is a visit to the Mercado de la Ribera, one of the largest covered markets in Europe. Here, we can taste some local products and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
In the afternoon, the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao is a must-visit. Considered one of the city's main attractions, it will surprise us with its contemporary art exhibitions and impressive architecture.
At the end of our day, we can enjoy dinner at one of the restaurants near the museum and admire the illuminated Puente de La Salve.
Greca Tip: To create the curious curved shapes of the Guggenheim Museum, architect Frank Gehry used 33,000 ultra-thin titanium plates.

After breakfast, we can use the day to take a trip outside of Bilbao.
The Basque coast can be an interesting place to visit.
We can start by following along the right side of the estuary, leaving the industrial towns of Barakaldo, Sestao, and Portugalete on the other side of the river.
We will reach Getxo, with its famous Hanging Bridge, which offers magnificent views.
The route can continue to the impressive Butrón Castle, standing at 45 meters in height, and to Mungia.
From here, we can head towards the coast to visit San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, a beautiful hermitage clinging to a rock and surrounded by the sea.
Continuing along the coast, we will come across the typical fishing village of Bermeo and the coastal town of Mundaka, where we can enjoy its beauty and delight in the magnificent views of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve.
We can then proceed to the iconic town of Gernika and visit its famous Casa de Juntas and its Tree.
Greca Tip: In San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, we will find the famous staircase with 241 steps, where we can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views.

After breakfast, we will have a free day to continue exploring the city.
We can visit the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, which houses a vast collection of art ranging from the 13th century to the present day.
Continuing along Elcano Street, we will reach the Ensanche, the city's financial district. Here, we can admire the modernist architecture of buildings such as the Chávarri Palace and the Iberdrola Tower.
Close by, we will find the Pozas area, where we can try the delicious and acclaimed Basque tapas served in the pintxos bars scattered throughout this neighborhood.
In the afternoon, we can visit the Arriaga Theater, a beautiful theater with a rich history.
Finally, to end the day, we recommend enjoying a dinner at a Basque grill restaurant and trying some typical dishes of the local cuisine, such as hake in green sauce, piperrada (Basque ratatouille), cod à la Vizcaina, cod in pil pil sauce, squid in ink, mushroom omelet, and Basque cake, among other delicious dishes.
Greca Tip: Gran Vía, the main commercial street in Bilbao, offers a variety of shops and establishments where we can buy souvenirs of our trip.

At the indicated time, we will be transferred to Bilbao Airport.
Undoubtedly, after spending fantastic days together with Greca, we look forward to seeing you again soon to create new and memorable moments that will never leave your memory.
Have a great trip! Or, as you would say: "Bidaia ona!"
Optionally, we can choose to add extra nights in this city to continue enjoying its cultural offerings along with the magic of getting lost in its streets and savoring the local cuisine.
Greca Tip: The Marzana neighborhood is characterized by its gastronomic offerings and its sunset. Don't forget to take a stroll through this area!
