Palermo 4-day itinerary - Italy

Upon your arrival in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, one of our vehicles will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you comfortably and quickly to your hotel. The rest of the day will be free to relax and begin enjoying Palermo at your own pace.

In the evening, we have included dinner at your hotel.

Greca Tip: As a culmination of your gastronomic experience, try cannoli, the king of traditional Sicilian desserts.

After a full breakfast, you will have the day off to enjoy the Sicilian capital to your liking.

One of the main attractions of the city is the Palace of the Normans, an impressive palace dating back to the 9th century. It is also home to the Palatine Chapel, a spectacular example of Arab-Norman architecture, with golden mosaics and an impressive dome. Another must-see attraction is the Palermo Cathedral, with a mix of architectural styles and a fascinating history.

After a full breakfast, you can continue enjoying the city.

The Old Town of Palermo, known as "La Kalsa", is a maze of narrow streets and historic buildings. Here, you can find the church of Santa Maria dello Spasimo, a place with unique architecture, which is used as a venue for cultural events. In addition, the Teatro Massimo, one of the largest theaters in Europe, is a must-see for lovers of opera and architecture.

Greca Tip: Be sure to try some of the typical dishes of this region such as the "sfincione" which is the Sicilian pizza.

After breakfast, and at the time indicated, you will be transferred to Palermo Airport to board your departure flight.
