Once in the city, you will have the rest of the day free to start enjoying this beautiful coastal city.

Bari is located on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, on the "heel" of the Italian boot. It is an important seaport in eastern Italy and a connection point between mainland Italy and the Balkans. It has a long history dating back to ancient times.

It was founded by the Peucetians, an ancient Italic people, and was later occupied by the Romans, Byzantines, Normans, and others. During the Middle Ages, it was an important center for trade in the Mediterranean.

After breakfast, you will have the day off to walk as you please.

Stroll through the picturesque streets of Bari Vecchia and visit the Cathedral of San Sabino, an impressive example of Romanesque architecture. The old town has beautiful narrow cobbled streets and typical local trattorias.

Then, you can take a walk along the Lungomare, the promenade that offers spectacular views of the Adriatic Sea.

Tip Greca: Under no circumstances stop trying the "orecchiette". It is a typical pasta of the region that is made by hand.

After a complete and abundant breakfast, you will have the day free to explore on your own.

One of the most renowned areas to visit is Pane e Pomodoro beach, a sandy beach in Bari that is perfect for swimming and sunbathing.

In the afternoon you can visit Via Sparano and Via Argiro to find fashion stores and local boutiques. You will also be able to explore the local markets, such as the Mercato Coperto, to buy fresh products and souvenirs.

Greca Tip: Bari is known for being the final resting place of Saint Nicholas, who is a figure revered in many parts of the world as Santa Claus.

In the morning, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast and then, at the indicated time, you will be transferred to the Bari airport to board your departure flight.
