Upon your arrival in Genoa, one of our vehicles will be waiting for you at the airport, port, or train station, to receive you and transfer you comfortably and quickly to the hotel. The rest of the day is for you to relax, and if you wish, begin to enjoy the city at your own pace.

Genoa is the sixth largest city in the country and also one of the most important economic centers in northern Italy. In medieval times, it was the richest city in the world and one of the most considerable commercial and naval powers in the Mediterranean. The legacy of that wealth can still be seen in the city's imposing gates, palaces, and churches.

After a full breakfast at the hotel, you will go out to discover the city with a tour on the hop on hop off bus that will make you discover all the main monuments, as well as allow you to visit the fishing village of Boccadasse, crossing the seafront of Corso Italia.

According to the legend, Baccadasse was founded around the year 1000 by a group of Spanish fishermen who, due to a violent storm, sought refuge in this small rocky inlet.

Its colored houses, around its small beach, are one of the most peculiar characteristics of this town.

After breakfast, you will have a free day to enjoy the city at your own pace.

The best way to enjoy the magic that the historic center of Genoa offers is to walk without a fixed goal, close the map, and get lost among its Carrugi (the name given to its narrow streets).

At the end of breakfast, one of our transfers will be waiting for you to take you to the train station in Genoa.
