Your journey will commence at the Göreme Valley, home to an open-air museum filled with churches, chapels, and monasteries adorned with ancient frescoes on their walls. Next, you'll proceed to the town of Avanos, renowned for its longstanding pottery-making tradition, which can be traced back to the Hittite period.
Here, you'll be captivated by the utilization of red clay sourced from Kizilirmak, Turkey's longest river, and have the opportunity to savor delightful Turkish tea.
Later on, you'll traverse the Pasabag Valley, also known as the "Valley of the Monks," due to the numerous monk refuges carved into the soft rock. Prepare to be amazed by the breathtaking cone-topped rock pillars called Fairy Chimneys.

Today, you will enjoy a delightful breakfast and prepare for a wonderful day as you discover the city of Athens and its fascinating blend of history and modernity.
During the panoramic tour, you will admire the Athenian Trilogy (National Library, University, and Academy of Athens), the Presidential Mansion, the Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro), where the first modern Olympic Games were held, the Zappeion, the majestic Temple of Olympian Zeus, which for centuries was one of the largest temples in Greece, and Hadrian’s Arch, built in honor of the Roman emperor.
The itinerary includes a visit to the Acropolis, symbol of the classical world and home to the Parthenon, a masterpiece of Greek architecture; the Erechtheion, with its famous Caryatids; and the Temple of Athena Nike, dedicated to the goddess of victory. Today is yours to experience Santorini at your own rhythm. The island’s story is written in its cliffs, wines, and ancient ruins.
Named Santa Irene by Venetian sailors, Santorini’s layers of history run deep—from medieval duchies to Ottoman whispers.
Optionally, you can go on a dazzling sailboat tour that will take you over to the small islands of Santorini Caldera, Nea, and Palea Kameni, with the hot springs of green and yellow waters.
Greca Tip: On this free day, we recommend exploring the island, tasting its wine and its excellent local cuisine. We cannot miss tasting the tomato keftedes (a kind of tomato balls), the fava dishes (a vegetable smaller than a pea), and the cheese called Chloro. At the indicated time we will be transferred to the airport to board our flight to Cyprus via Athens.
After our arrival in Larnaca, the transfer to the hotel will be carried out by one of our vehicles, and we will have the rest of the day free.
The historic center of the city will allow us to discover ancient gems, such as the Larnaca Fort. Its museum explains the function that the castle used to have as a place of execution, as well as the Church of Lazarus, a spiritual center from the 9th century where the tomb of a biblical character is said to be located.
Greca Tip: Cyprus is known as the island of cats. Legend has it that Saint Helena of Constantinople, empress of the Roman Empire, sent ships full of cats to the Mediterranean island to fight against the snakes, which were overpopulating the region at that time.

After breakfast, we will continue exploring the island at our own pace.
The white sandy beach stretches at the foot of the Piale Pasha promenade, which extends from the castle to the famous Mackenzie Beach.
Picturesque fishermen's houses with white walls and bright shutters line the promenade. New hotels, cozy cafes, and restaurants have been built right on the beach.
In the area, we can visit the Hala Sultan Tekke mosque and the medieval Kamares aqueduct.
The Old Town is located 8 kilometers south of the main tourist areas. Its narrow streets preserve the ancient stonework. Here, you'll find many traditional houses and small courtyards, and you'll often come across small craft shops.
Greca Tip: Remember trying the famous Cypriot dish known as "Prasorizo". It's a kind of leek risotto.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will meet our guide to begin a fascinating journey through Larnaca. Aboard our bus, we will explore the treasures of this coastal city: the Pierides Museum, the Winged Lion of Venice, and the statue of Zeno of Citium, the famous Stoic philosopher.
We will listen to stories that bridge philosophy and history, including the life of the Athenian strategist Kimon. We will then visit the medieval Castle, the Kamares Aqueduct, and admire the majestic Church of Saint Lazarus (outside view), believed to be built over his second tomb.
After lunch at a traditional tavern, we will travel to the charming village of Lefkara, renowned for its "lefkaritika" embroidery, listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. We’ll visit the Museum of Embroidery and Silversmithing and taste the typical loukoumi, a beloved local sweet. As we stroll through cobbled streets, we’ll discover stone-built houses and the Holy Cross Church, home to a relic of the True Cross.
We will end the day with a halloumi workshop, where we’ll learn the secrets of Cyprus’s most iconic cheese and taste it freshly made.
Greca Tip: In Lefkara, seek out the small family-run workshops—there you’ll find the most authentic embroidery and the warmest local hospitality.

After a delicious breakfast, we will hop on a full-day journey where we will explore ancient villages, nature, and medieval monasteries in the Troodos Mountains.
Enjoying the stunning views of Omodos Village, we will walk towards the Holy Cross Monastery, the oldest in Cyprus.
You will then explore Kykkos Monastery with its religious significance and breathtaking mountain views. Kykkos Monastery houses an icon of the Virgin Mary believed to have been painted by St. Luke the Evangelist. Visit the tomb of Archbishop Makarios III for a panoramic view of the highlands.
After all that, we will have a traditional lunch at a local taverna and then embark on a winery visit. Discover Cyprus's winemaking tradition dating back 6000 years. The island's warm climate and high-altitude vineyards produce unique and delightful wines. Learn vine cultivation secrets and savor young and aged white varieties like Xynisteri, along with bold and richly structured red wines.
Greca Tip: Cyprus is home to the oldest named wine in the world, "Commandaria," produced in the region for over 800 years!

Today we will have the opportunity to explore the ancient city of Kourion, witness to a civilization that disappeared in 365 AD, after a devastating earthquake.
We will be able to admire the restored Greco-Roman theater, the mosaic floors, and the Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates. At the Kourion Archaeological Museum, we will discover artifacts that spark the historical imagination.
We will then enjoy our lunch in a typical restaurant before embarking on a tour of the historic city of Paphos.
We will begin the exploration at the Rock of Aphrodite and from there we will immerse ourselves in the Archaeological Park of Paphos (Nea Pafos), declared a World Heritage by UNESCO. There we will find an impressive collection of mosaic floors, the Tombs of the Kings, and the Castle of Paphos.
We will then visit the legendary archaeological complex of St. Paul's Pillar and the Agia Kyriaki and Agia Solomoni churches.
Greca Tip: The tombs of the Kings in Paphos are underground and carved in rock. Curiously enough, they do not belong to any kings, the name comes from the imposing structure.

After our breakfast, we will embark on a unique journey in Nicosia, a city divided between the Republic of Cyprus (the Greek part) and the Republic of Northern Cyprus, recognized only by Turkey. We will discover the best of both sides on a captivating journey through history.
We will begin by diving into the past at the Cyprus Museum, the largest and oldest archaeological jewel on the island. The imposing Venetian walls and the majestic Famagusta Gate, which have witnessed great events since the 16th century, will unfold before our eyes. We will advance towards the Archbishop's Palace, where an impressive collection of religious icons awaits our admiration.
We will cross the main square of Eleftheria to enter northern Cyprus. We'll explore original Christian and Muslim places of worship, such as the 11th-century Cathedral of St. John the Theologian and the Selimiye Mosque (formerly St. Sophia Cathedral).
In the ancient city, we will culminate our tour at the charming Great Inn, also known as Büyük Han, the largest caravanserai on the island. Its merchants will tempt us with traditional Cypriot crafts, giving you a unique experience in this fascinating crossroads of cultures.

After your tasty breakfast, you will embark on a journey with us to uncover the story of the Turkish-Cypriot Republic that reshaped one of the historically richest neighborhoods in the enchanting city island of Famagusta.
Our exploration kicks off at the base of the Othello Castle, a magnificent structure erected in the 14th century. Let your imagination run wild as we delve into the events of Shakespeare's famous work set in the port city of Cyprus. We'll stand in awe before the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque, a Gothic architectural gem with a history marked by war, natural disasters, and religious transformations, earning it the nickname "The Reims of Cyprus."
Next, we'll venture to the ancient city-state of Salamis, where layers of history reveal the footprints of Phoenicians, Assyrians, ancient Greeks, Persians, ancient Macedonians, Romans, and Ottomans. Founded in the 11th century BC, this city has witnessed the ebb and flow of diverse civilizations.
