Arriving in Rome is more than just reaching a destination; it is stepping into a living museum where every stone holds centuries of history. As your eyes meet the ochre tones of its buildings and the deep skies above, you may feel as though you've returned to a place you never knew you missed.
Upon landing, one of our vehicles will be waiting to greet you and provide a comfortable, seamless transfer to your hotel in the heart of Rome. Once there, you’ll have time to settle in and enjoy your accommodation, knowing that every corner of this city holds a story waiting to unfold.
The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace. Perhaps take a stroll to the Trevi Fountain, where —as tradition has it— tossing a coin ensures your return to Rome. Did you know that over 3,000 euros are collected from the fountain each day? All of it goes to charity.
Greca Tip: If you choose to go out, wear comfortable shoes. Rome reveals itself best on foot, and its cobbled streets are full of delightful surprises.

Our morning begins with a delicious breakfast, preparing us for a day full of excitement.
Today, we will travel toward the Adriatic Sea, departing from Rome and heading into the Puglia region.
Along the way, we will cross the stunning landscapes of the Apennine mountain range until we reach the Adriatic coast.
Our first stop will be a guided visit to the interior of San Giovanni in Venere Abbey (entrance included), beautifully perched on a hill overlooking the sea, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
We will then continue to Termoli, a charming coastal town where the walled old town rises above the beach. Its 13th-century castle and Romanesque cathedral stand out among the historic streets. You’ll have free time to enjoy lunch, take a stroll, and—if the weather allows—go for a refreshing swim in the sea.
Following the scenic Adriatic coastal road, we’ll continue south, taking in breathtaking views of the shoreline. Our next destination is Bari, a vibrant port city with centuries of history. Its medieval alleys, enclosed by ancient walls, lead to a majestic Norman castle that stands as a symbol of the Puglia region. The energy and charm of Southern Italy are palpable in every corner of this fascinating city.
At the end of the day, we’ll transfer to the hotel to rest and enjoy a cozy evening.
Greca Tip: Don’t leave Bari without trying the focaccia barese—a soft, flavorful bread topped with tomatoes, olives, and olive oil—or the traditional orecchiette pasta, often served with turnip greens (cime di rapa), a regional specialty.

After a delicious breakfast at our hotel in Bari, we will head south, following the Adriatic Sea coastline.
Our first stop is Brindisi, a historic fortified city whose port has long served as a key connection between Italy and Greece. Here, we will enjoy a seaside walk, discover its iconic Roman column, and explore the charming old town.

Its streets are filled with lavishly decorated churches and palaces, creating a perfect setting for a leisurely stroll and a delightful lunch in its vibrant historic center.
Following the route through Mediterranean landscapes, we will reach Gallipoli, a picturesque city on the shores of the Ionian Sea.
