The sun rises over Rome, and with it awaken your dreams of exploring the Eternal City.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for a comfortable check-in. After that, the day is yours to enjoy. In the morning, you’ll have access to a daily ticket for the Hop-on Hop-off tourist bus, a complimentary gift from Greca Viajes — a free and panoramic way to immerse yourself in the soul of Rome. Hop on, choose your seat on the open-top deck, and let yourself be carried away by the voices of the past that still whisper among ruins and palaces.
Along the route, you can hop on and off at any of the eight stops to explore legendary landmarks such as the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, or Piazza Navona, and admire the city from a perspective only a convertible bus can offer. The audio guide in your language will accompany you with stories that turn every stone into an unforgettable tale.
In the evening, enjoy Rome at your own pace. Perhaps a dinner under the warm lights of Trastevere, or a quiet walk through the illuminated Forum.
Greca Tip: Start your tour early and visit the most popular sites in the morning. At that time, Rome feels more like yours and less like the crowd’s.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will say goodbye to Rome and head south along the iconic Autostrada del Sole. As we travel through the regions of Lazio and Campania, you will admire the rolling landscapes of the Italian countryside, dotted with vineyards, olive groves and ancient villages that tell centuries of history.
Starting with departures in 2027, we will visit the Pompeii Archaeological Site on this day. This will be one of the most fascinating experiences in southern Italy. We will explore its ancient streets, temples, villas and public spaces, discovering what everyday life was like in this Roman city that was buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. The visit will include skip-the-line admission, allowing us to make the most of our time at this extraordinary archaeological site.
As we approach the Sorrento Peninsula, the scenery changes dramatically, revealing the spectacular Amalfi Coast, where the deep blue sea meets hills covered with lemon groves and cliffside villas. We will arrive in Sorrento, a charming town that combines maritime traditions, picturesque streets and an elegance that has captivated travelers for centuries.
After checking into the hotel, you will have the afternoon free to explore at your own pace, browse the local marquetry workshops, visit Baroque churches or simply enjoy a glass of limoncello overlooking the sea. If you wish, you may join an optional excursion along the coast. In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel, followed by overnight accommodation.
Greca Tip: In Sorrento, don’t miss the opportunity to try gnocchi alla sorrentina, a local specialty baked with tomato, mozzarella and basil. A delicious combination of simplicity and Neapolitan flavor!

After enjoying our breakfast, we will meet our local guide and transfer to the port of Sorrento, where we will board a boat bound for Capri, one of the most fascinating islands in the Mediterranean. During the journey, we will enjoy views of the coastline and the seascape surrounding our arrival on this island, famous for its dramatic cliffs, mild climate and lush vegetation.
Upon arrival in Capri, we will head to Marina Grande to embark on an unforgettable experience: a visit to the Blue Grotto, a spectacular sea cave where sunlight creates an intense blue glow on the water. The visit is subject to sea and weather conditions. Once the visit is complete, we will return to Marina Grande to enjoy some free time.
This will be the perfect opportunity to have lunch at your own expense and explore Capri at your own pace. You may wander through its charming streets, admire its elegant boutiques, enjoy the panoramic views or simply soak up the island’s sophisticated Mediterranean atmosphere.
In the afternoon, we will return to the port to board the boat back to Sorrento. At the end of the day, we will return to the hotel to rest. There, we will enjoy a delicious dinner before our overnight stay.
Please note that during the high season, visiting the Blue Grotto in Capri may involve long queues or, due to its limited capacity, it may not be possible to enter. If access is not possible or weather conditions do not permit the visit, our guides will suggest alternative attractions to ensure a satisfying and memorable experience, such as the famous Faraglioni rocks.
Greca Tip: If you have some free time in Capri, make your way to the Gardens of Augustus to enjoy one of the island’s most beautiful panoramic views, overlooking the Faraglioni and the intense blue of the Mediterranean.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will say goodbye to Sorrento and head towards Pompeii, one of Italy’s most extraordinary archaeological treasures. Accompanied by our tourism expert, we will travel to this fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site, where a specialized local guide will take us on an interesting walking tour.
We will explore the astonishing remains of this ancient Roman city, remarkably preserved beneath the ashes following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Its streets, homes, temples, and public spaces will allow us to discover what everyday life was like in ancient Rome. We will enjoy skip-the-line access, making the most of our visit.
For departures from 2027 onwards, the visit to Pompeii will take place on Day 2 of the itinerary. As a result, on this day we will have free time in Sorrento, an excellent opportunity to discover the city at your own pace, stroll through its streets, enjoy its lively atmosphere, or taste its authentic cuisine.
We will then head to the Port of Naples to board the Tirrenia/Snav ferry bound for Palermo. During the crossing, we can relax and enjoy the journey across the Mediterranean. We will spend the night on board. Please note that dinner and breakfast are not included on the ferry.
Greca Tip: If you have some free time in Naples, let yourself be carried away by the atmosphere of its historic center and take the opportunity to try an authentic Neapolitan pizza, one of the city’s great culinary symbols.

After you arrive in Palermo, you will be transferred to your hotel. You will enjoy a lovely dinner and enjoy a good rest that will prepare you for the next day's adventures.
Greca Tip: As a culmination of your gastronomic experience, try cannoli, the king of traditional Sicilian desserts.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will head for a morning tour to Monreale, included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site list, an ancient royal town famous for its almonds, olive oil, citrus fruits, and fine Norman Architecture. You will visit the Cathedral of Monreale, and then have some free time to shop for local delicatessen and souvenirs.
When you return to Palermo, you will join a walking tour of the city wandering around the Old Town and learning about its 3,000-year history. You will walk through the impressive Cathedral, and admire its arches, cupolas, and mosaics.
You will have some free time in the late afternoon before returning to your hotel for dinner and a good rest.
Greca Tip: The area is renowned for the quality and quantity of its citrus fruits, almonds, olives, and extensive vineyards. Try Monreale''s great red, rosé and white wines.

There are days when each stop along the way feels like a journey within a journey. After a comforting breakfast, your morning begins with a visit to Erice, a charming medieval village perched beside Mount San Giuliano. Wandering its cobbled streets is like opening a book from the 6th century—towers, churches, and walls whisper ancient legends through the mist. Erice has barely changed over the centuries, and you will feel that timeless magic in every step.
Later, we head to Marsala, the land of one of Italy’s most iconic wines. There, you’ll enjoy a unique sensory experience with a visit to a historic winery, including a tasting of local wines and regional delicacies served in a light lunch that captures the essence of Sicily.
In the afternoon, the journey continues to Agrigento, home to the majestic Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walking among the Temple of Concordia, Hercules, and Jupiter is like touching the soul of ancient Greece.
The day ends with dinner and a restful overnight stay in Agrigento.
Greca Tip: Bring a light jacket for Erice—even in summer, the altitude offers a refreshing chill… and a mysterious charm.

There are places that are not only admired, but truly felt. After a peaceful breakfast at the hotel, your morning takes you to Ragusa, a jewel of Sicilian Baroque and one of the glorious cities that make up the Val di Noto, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There awaits Ibla, its enchanting historic center, where every corner feels like a stage frozen in time.
You’ll stroll past palaces and churches that rise like stone sculptures, beginning with the old San Giorgio Gate, the tranquil Iblean Gardens, and quaint Piazza Pola, where the small Church of San Giuseppe will surprise you with its delicate charm. At every turn, Baroque art unfolds like a symphony: the majestic Cathedral of San Giorgio, the mystical Church of the Souls in Purgatory, and the magnificent Cosentini Palace, whose carved balconies seem to whisper tales from another century.
As the afternoon fades, you’ll return to the hotel, where a delightful dinner awaits—a perfect close to a day of serene beauty.
Greca Tip: Keep your camera ready and some space on your memory card—Ragusa is unforgettable… but you’ll always want to see it again.

Some mornings feel as if they were written in golden light. After a delicious breakfast, your morning begins with a journey to Noto, a Baroque jewel that rises gracefully between hills and sea. Though small in size, this charming town is vast in beauty: its Cathedral of San Nicolò, lovingly restored after an earthquake, shines as a symbol of Sicilian resilience. A stroll through the historic center reveals facades carved with the finesse of lace in stone.
Later, the journey continues to Syracuse, the classical heart of southeastern Sicily. There, you’ll explore the magical island of Ortigia, where time seems to pause among Baroque churches and medieval palaces. They say that beneath the stones, the echoes of ancient Greece still breathe.
As the sun turns the horizon a shade of copper, the afternoon takes us to Taormina, suspended between sky and sea. After checking in to your accommodation in the heart of town, a delicious dinner awaits you— the perfect close to a day filled with stunning beauty.
Greca Tip: In Ortigia, don’t forget to look up. Wrought-iron balconies and ancient gargoyles conceal some of the city's most surprising secrets.

After enjoying our breakfast at the centrally located hotel, we will depart for Mount Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe and the highest mountain in Italy. During the journey, we will discover the fascinating volcanic activity of the region and marvel at the ancient lava fields and black magma rock formations that characterize the landscape of Mount Etna.
Weather permitting, we will have the opportunity to ascend to an altitude of 1,800 meters and enjoy the breathtaking views offered by this unique volcanic environment. After this experience, we will return to Taormina, the beautiful and romantic town perched on Mount Tauro.
The remainder of the day will be free to explore Taormina at your own pace, stroll through its charming streets, or simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere of this elegant Sicilian town. At the end of the day, we will return to the hotel to rest.
Greca Tip: If you have some free time in Taormina, we recommend strolling along Corso Umberto and enjoying its charming squares, shops, and terraces overlooking the Mediterranean.

After a delicious breakfast, we will be transferred to Catania airport.
After spending some fantastic days with Greca, we hope to see you again to enjoy some wonderful moments that will remain forever in your memory.
Have a good trip! Or, as you say: "Buon Viaggio!"
