After enjoying breakfast, we depart from Nairobi and journey toward one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations: the Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, we travel through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, where rolling hills, vast savannas, and rural villages introduce us to the beauty of the Kenyan countryside.
As we approach the reserve, the landscape opens into the legendary endless plains of the Masai Mara, a spectacular natural setting known for its remarkable concentration of wildlife. The reserve offers exceptional year-round game viewing, hosting a wide variety of species that thrive across its expansive grasslands.
Among the most extraordinary natural spectacles here is the famous Great Migration, when more than two million wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes move across the plains in search of fresh grazing. This remarkable journey is considered one of the most impressive wildlife events on Earth.
We arrive at the lodge in time to enjoy lunch, followed by a short moment to relax before beginning our first safari experience.
Later in the afternoon, we venture into the Masai Mara National Reserve for an exciting game drive, where we may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, and a remarkable variety of wildlife that inhabits this vast ecosystem.
At the end of the day, we return to the lodge to enjoy dinner and our accommodation, surrounded by the unforgettable sounds of the African savanna.
Greca Tip: The Masai Mara forms part of the same ecosystem as Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, allowing millions of animals to move freely across the border during the Great Migration.

You can book this activity directly at destination.
During the morning and afternoon game drives, we will travel across the vast savannas of the reserve in search of the legendary Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros.
