Package Tour Itinerary: Osmanli

After your arrival in the city that was once Byzantium (and later Constantinople), you will be transfer to your hotel in one of our private vehicles. You will check in at the hotel and the rest of the day will be free for you to relax and start enjoying this stunning city.
Alternatively, you can join the Night Cruise on the Bosphorus with Dinner & Show or enjoy an hour's pampering at the Hamam Cimberlitas.
Greca Tip: You can also head to Ortaköy, the area for upmarket chic, where you will find a strip of stands serving kumpir, Turkey's answer to the jacket potato. Pick your spud and toppings and savor the seaside views while you eat on your feet.

After a delicious breakfast and, at the time indicated, we will pick you up from your hotel, or the nearest meeting point, to begin the full day tour of this magnificent city. It includes an official English-speaking guide, tickets, lunch at a central restaurant and a visit to the most resplendent monuments that the Ottoman, Byzantine and Roman empires have left to future generations: Hagia Sophia, Constantinople Racecourse, The Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar, which houses more than 4000 stores inside.
After the visit, you can linger a little longer in the beautiful Sultanahmed neighborhood or you can return to your hotel straight after your tour by covering the individual cost of the transfer.
Greca Tip: Make sure you try the delicious apple tea served hot or cold.

In the morning, after a nutritious breakfast at your hotel, you will have free time to immerse yourself in the fantastic atmosphere of the city of Istanbul.
In the afternoon you will start your trip to the magical and amazing region of Cappadocia. Cappadocia is unique for its incredible landscape and history. You will arrive at your hotel, check in and rest.
Greca Tip: Consult with your guide about joining in a hot air balloon tour and gently drift over the magnificent valleys of Cappadocia.

After a filling breakfast, you will dedicate the whole of this day to this wonderful region.
Starting with the Göreme Valley and its open-air museum, you will visit the churches, chapels, and monasteries, with their ancient frescoes painted on the walls. You will continue to the town of Avanos, known for its pottery-making tradition, an art that dates back to the Hittite period. Here you will marvel at the use of red clay coming from Kizilirmak, the longest river in Turkey, and taste the delicious Turkish tea.
Later, you will cross the Pasabag valley or "Valley of the Monks", because of the many monk refuges carved into the soft rock, and you will be amazed at the spectacular cone topped rock pillars known as Fairy Chimneys. The tour will continue through the valley of Devrent or "Imaginary Valley" full of unique rock formations, many of which are said to resemble animal shapes. You will also visit the Göreme Panorama, a panoramic viewpoint with fantastic views of the city of Göreme. Finally you will visit the city of Urgüp, famous for its wine production, its fertile vineyards and apricot gardens, where you can take some incredible photos as a memento of your time here.
Late in the afternoon, you will return to Istanbul for your overnight stay.
Greca Tip: If it was not possible to go on a balloon ride on your first day, don't miss out on the opportunity to do it today at sunrise (check with your guide).

At the time indicated, we will transfer you to Istanbul airport to board your flight to Athens.
After your arrival in the historic capital of Europe, the transfer to your hotel will be carried out in one of our private vehicles.
Your English-speaking assistant will welcome and give you a brief account of the city and its day to day life. He will also inform you about all the details of your trip and answer any questions you may have.
For the rest of the day you can relax and familiarize yourself with this celebrated city at your own pace.
Greca Tip: Take the funicular railway to Lycabettus Hill and enjoy sprawling views of Athens stretching out to the city's coastline.

After your breakfast and, at the agreed time, you will commence the panoramic tour of the Athenian Neoclassical Center: the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the University, the Library, and National Academy, the Ilion Palace, the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Gate, the Panathenaic Stadium, and many other monuments and sites of great interest. You will learn all there is to know about their history and background from the licensed English-speaking Tour Guide accompanying you on this tour.
Your next stop will be the "sacred rock", the spectacular, unique and magnificent Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. The entrance fee to both sites is included. At the end of the visit, you can either choose to return to your hotel or set out on your own adventure through the charming and picturesque streets of Plaka.
In the evening, we have included a guided walking tour that will take you through the prettiest districts of the capital, such as Anafiotika, Thissio, Monastiraki, and Plaka.
Greca Tip: In Plaka look for something alluring, like ceramics, musical instruments, handmade jewelry to specialty food shops stacked high with olives and spices.

Early in the morning, your assistant will pick you up in one of our private vehicles and transfer you to the port of Piraeus, where you will board the ferry to the famous island of Mykonos. The crossing is scheduled at the ideal time of the day so as to enjoy the sun on deck and marvel at the deep blue of the Aegean sea. The name of this cosmopolitan island denotes "heap of stones" or the "rocky place", but a later version links it to the hero Mykonos, son of the king of Delos, Anius.
Upon your arrival on the island, one of our English speaking representatives will be waiting to welcome you, transfer you to your hotel and introduce you to this famous island.
The rest of the day is free for you to relax and immerse yourself in the 'slow' way of life of the islanders.
Greca Tip: You can select a fast ferry in step 1 of 3 of your reservation.

Free day to enjoy this magnificent island. Mykonos is the meeting point of the international "jet set", famous for its wonderful beaches, the dazzling shops and vibrant nightlife.
The island's cuisine is mainly Mediterranean, which means that vegetables and olive oil are an integral part of the daily menu, together with certain spices (oregano, basil ...) as well as fish and seafood dishes.
Just a short distance away by ferry, there is the historic island of Delos, which, according to Greek mythology, was the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. This small island, inhabited since 3000 B.C., was one of the most important cultural centers of antiquity.
Greca tip: We recommend hiring a car or a motorcycle to venture out on the island, experience the local customs and feel like a Mykonian, too.

After a tasty breakfast, appreciating life like a Greek, we will pick you up at the agreed time, in one of our private vehicles, to drive you to the port, where you will continue on to your next destination, the island that is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, Santorini. As the ferry approaches the port, you will admire the capital city of Fira, with its white houses perched on the cliffside and facing the volcano.
Upon disembarkation, one of our English-speaking representatives will welcome you, escort you to your hotel and introduce you to some of the most outstanding features of this picturesque island. The rest of the day is free for you to wander through the narrow streets and become part of this amazing world.
Greca Tip: Sit back and enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world from one of the coffee shops in glamorous Oia.

Free day to explore, at your own pace, this magical island, considered to be the lost continent of Atlantis. The name of the island was given by the Venetian Giacomo Barozzi due to the presence of a chapel dedicated to Saint Eirini. His descendants remained until 1576, when the island became part of the Duchy of Naxos and until the Turkish conquest by Piyale Pasha.
Optionally, you may choose to go on a dazzling sailboat tour that will take you over to the small islands of the caldera, Nea and Palea Kameni, with the hot springs of green and yellow waters.
Greca Tip: On this free day, we recommend exploring the island, tasting its wine and its excellent local cuisine. We cannot miss tasting the tomatokeftedes (a kind of tomato balls), the fava dishes (a vegetable smaller than a pea) and the cheese called Chloro.

At the agreed time, you will be transferred to the Santorini Airport, where you will board your flight back to Athens.
Your arrival at the airport will conveniently coincide with your international flight, which should preferably depart after 12:30 pm.
Having spent a few fantastic days with Greca, we hope to see you again soon in order to create new and extraordinary moments that will be lovingly etched in your memory.
Have a nice trip! or as Greeks say: Kalo taksidi!
Optionally, you can add more nights in Santorini during step 1 of 3 of your reservation.
Greca Tip: As a going away gift you may buy the classic wine Assyrtiko or sweet Vinsanto from Santorini or from the duty-free shop at Athens Airport, which offers a good selection of Greek wines and spirits.
