Dubrovnik, Korčula, Hvar and Split in 11 days

After arriving at Dubrovnik airport, you'll be transferred to the hotel in one of our vehicles. The rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy the city at your own pace.

Dubrovnik, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic" for being one of the most beautiful cities in the Mediterranean, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. Dubrovnik means "Oak Grove," named for the abundance of oak trees in the area.

The city was ruled by Byzantines, Venetians, Hungarians, Turks, and Austrians. Dubrovnik was also one of the cities most affected by the war against Serbia; on December 6, 1991, more than 2,000 bombs fell on it, which is why most of its homes are newly constructed. The old town is surrounded by a large medieval wall with 16 towers, making it one of the city's main attractions.

After a peaceful and fabulous breakfast, you will have the day free to enjoy "The Pearl of the Adriatic."

Dubrovnik is a walled city dating back to the 7th century, full of contrasts and fusion that continues to enchant its visitors. Strolling within the walled area, we will reminisce about hundreds of years of history. Its walls and towers are considered the main attraction of the city, and from there we can capture breathtaking panoramic photos.

You shouldn't miss a visit to the Church of St. Blaise (1715), located in the heart of the city, the Stradun Street, the main artery of the city, where we will find bars and shops, and also the Franciscan Monastery and its church (14th century), home to the oldest pharmacy in the world.

To further explore the city's history, we recommend visiting the Sponza Palace, which dates back to the 16th century. We can also take a funicular ride to Mount Srđ to enjoy the views and have a good cup of coffee.

After a tasty breakfast, you'll be transferred to the port of Dubrovnik to board a catamaran or ferry to Korcula.

Korcula is one of the greenest islands in the Adriatic, filled with olive groves and vineyards. The city resembles a typical Dalmatian medieval village with its red towers, colorful rooftops, and Gothic-Renaissance buildings.

Its most prominent monument is the Cathedral of St. Mark, which took 150 years to build and houses two paintings by Tintoretto. Next to the cathedral is the Church of St. Peter, featuring Gothic architecture and a Renaissance façade.

Other points of interest include the Abbey Palace, home to the city's treasury, and the Gabrielis Palace, now converted into museums. You'll be staying in Korcula by the end of the day.

Greca Tip: Legend has it that Marco Polo was born in Korcula, and it's worth visiting the house where he was born, protected by the city hall and soon to be turned into a museum.

After a delicious breakfast, you'll have the day free to continue exploring Korcula and its surroundings at your own pace.

One recommendation is to explore the surroundings, where just 6 kilometers away you'll find the village of Lumbarda, surrounded by vineyards, rural houses, and small sandy beaches. In Lumbarda, you can enjoy seafood in one of its numerous taverns accompanied by its typical white wine, Grk. Another option, if you're not a fan of seafood, is to try the country's typical cheeses and local wine.

If you prefer to enjoy the beach and diving, you can visit other fishing villages along the south coast such as Putnatska Luka, Brna, Prizba, and Potirna.

At the end of the day, you'll be staying in Korcula.

After enjoying our breakfast, we begin a day designed to savor Korčula at your own pace. Today is a free day to continue discovering this Dalmatian gem, known as the “little Dubrovnik” for its medieval walls, stone alleyways, and charming squares.

In the morning, you may wander through the historic old town, visit the reputed birthplace of Marco Polo, or simply sit at a seaside café and watch local life unfold. In the afternoon, it is a perfect opportunity to relax on a crystal-clear beach, explore nearby vineyards, or taste local white wines such as the famous Grk, a specialty of the island.

At the end of the day, we return to the hotel to rest. Accommodation in Korčula.

Greca Tip: At sunset, stroll along Korčula’s walls—the golden light over the Adriatic creates one of the most romantic landscapes in all of Croatia.

After enjoying our breakfast, we get ready to bid farewell to charming Korčula. At the scheduled time, we will enjoy a transfer to the port to board a comfortable catamaran that will take us to the stylish island of Hvar, sailing across the turquoise waters of the Adriatic.

Upon arrival, the porter service will take care of delivering our luggage to the selected hotel, allowing us to begin enjoying the destination without worries. The rest of the day is free to explore Hvar on your own: you may stroll along its elegant marina, wander through the old town crowned by a hilltop fortress, visit the impressive cathedral, or simply relax at a seaside terrace.

At the end of the day, we return to the hotel to rest. Accommodation in Hvar.

Greca Tip: Climb up to the Spanish Fortress (Španjola) at sunset— from there you will enjoy one of the best panoramic views of Hvar harbor and the Pakleni Islands bathed in golden light.

After enjoying our breakfast, we begin a day to let ourselves be carried away by Hvar’s natural charm, known as the sunniest island in the Adriatic. Mild in winter, warm in summer, and blessed with countless hours of sunshine, Hvar reveals a picture-perfect Mediterranean landscape: lavender fields and vineyards tracing the horizon, gently descending from white pine forests down to crystal-clear bays and pale stone beaches.

In the morning, you may explore inland villages, follow scenic routes, or visit local wineries to discover the region’s wines. In the afternoon, it is ideal to relax in a hidden cove, take a boat trip to the Pakleni Islands, or simply enjoy the chic atmosphere of the harbor and its seaside cafés.

At the end of the day, we return to the hotel to rest. Accommodation in Hvar.

Greca Tip: Try a dish of fresh fish paired with local Plavac Mali wine—it is one of the most authentic gastronomic experiences on the island.

After a delicious breakfast, we will have the day free to continue exploring this fascinating place and its surroundings at our own pace. We can choose to wander through the old town and its narrow streets in search of unforgettable corners.

After a delicious breakfast, we will be transferred to the port to board a ferry or catamaran that will take us back to Split, where we will be greeted and transferred to our accommodation.

We will have the rest of the day free to continue enjoying the charm of this magnificent city, visit anything we haven't seen yet, or revisit our favorite spots, including the Diocletian's Palace, the most important monument that gave rise to the current city of Split.

Greca Tip: You can have a coffee in the Republic Square overlooking the harbor.

You will start your day with a delicious breakfast to recharge your energy and thus enjoy your free day in the beautiful city of Split, the capital of the Dalmatia region.

In recent years, the city has emerged as one of the country's premier tourist destinations, drawing visitors from far and wide to explore its rich history and stunning Adriatic coastline. As you stroll along its picturesque medieval streets, you'll encounter a plethora of historically, architecturally, and culturally significant landmarks, many of which are nestled within the walls of Diocletian's Palace.

Commissioned by Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century as a retreat for his twilight years, this architectural marvel fell into disuse in the 6th century before being repurposed by the locals, transforming it into the vibrant heart of the city. 

Today, the Roman edifices house a vibrant array of homes, boutiques, and eateries, offering visitors an immersive journey through time. Don't miss the chance to explore the revered "Golden Gate", which marks the grand entrance to this historic complex.

You can also walk and marvel at the constructions located around the central courtyard, called the Peristyle. Another important place to visit is the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, where you will find the Mausoleum of Diocletian. You can also explore the underground passages, which are of great historical importance.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, and at the agreed time, you will take the transfer to Split airport.
