Welcome to South Korea! Upon arrival in Seoul, our staff will greet you and transfer you comfortably to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day free to begin exploring this vibrant metropolis at your own pace, immersing yourself in the unique blend of modernity and tradition that defines the South Korean capital.

In the afternoon, you will receive all the necessary information to start your tour, including schedules, excursion details, and useful travel tips.

After enjoying our breakfast, we will meet in the hotel lobby at the scheduled time to begin an exciting sightseeing tour of Seoul, a city where ancient traditions blend seamlessly with cutting-edge modernity.

Our first stop will be the iconic N Seoul Tower, perched atop Namsan Mountain, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the Korean capital. We will then continue to the National Museum of Korea, one of the largest museums in the world, home to an outstanding collection of cultural treasures that showcase Korea’s rich history from ancient times to the present day.

Next, we will visit the modern COEX Mall, renowned for its impressive Byeolmadang Library, featuring towering 13-meter-high bookshelves and more than 70,000 books. Our journey will continue at Gwangjang Market, one of Korea’s oldest and most traditional markets, where local culture and gastronomy come to life.

We will conclude the day in the lively district of Myeongdong, one of Seoul’s most popular shopping and entertainment areas, famous for its vibrant atmosphere, trendy stores, and delicious street food. At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotel to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening.

After enjoying our breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and meet at the scheduled time to begin today’s journey. Our first stop will be the magnificent Changdeokgung Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest examples of Joseon Dynasty architecture.

We will then continue to the Korean Folk Village, where we will gain insight into traditional Korean life during the 18th and 19th centuries. As we stroll through its historic homes, workshops, and cultural spaces, we will discover customs and traditions that have shaped Korea’s cultural heritage for generations.

After the visit, we will travel by road to Gyeongju, the ancient capital of the Silla Kingdom for nearly one thousand years. Often referred to as “the museum without walls,” Gyeongju is home to an exceptional collection of Buddhist temples, royal tombs, pagodas, and palaces that showcase the grandeur of one of Korea’s most influential civilizations.

Upon arrival, we will check in at the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

After enjoying our breakfast, we will meet at the scheduled time to begin a fascinating day exploring the historical treasures of Gyeongju, the ancient capital of the Silla Kingdom.

Our first stop will be the magnificent Bulguksa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest examples of Korean Buddhist architecture. We will then continue to the remarkable Seokguram Grotto, also recognized by UNESCO, located on the slopes of Mount Toham. Built in the 8th century, this extraordinary sanctuary houses a monumental seated Buddha facing the sea and is considered one of the greatest masterpieces of Buddhist art in East Asia.

Next, we will visit the historic Cheomseongdae Astronomical Observatory, the oldest surviving observatory in East Asia, before continuing to the Royal Tumuli Park, home to the royal tombs of the Silla Dynasty. During our visit, we will have the opportunity to enter one of the excavated tombs and learn about the construction techniques and burial traditions of Korea’s ancient royalty.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotel to relax.

After enjoying our breakfast, we will meet at the hotel at the scheduled time for our final visits in Gyeongju. Our day will begin at the charming Gyochon Traditional Village, where we will have the opportunity to experience Korean culture firsthand by wearing a traditional hanbok, Korea’s elegant national attire.

Dressed in hanbok, we will enjoy a leisurely walk to the historic Woljeonggyo Bridge, one of Gyeongju’s most iconic landmarks, and explore the surrounding hanok village, famous for its traditional architecture and picturesque scenery. Guests who prefer not to participate in the hanbok experience may instead enjoy traditional tea at a local tea house.

We will then continue our journey to Busan, South Korea’s second-largest city and one of its most important coastal destinations. Upon arrival, we will begin our sightseeing tour with a visit to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, one of the country’s rare seaside Buddhist temples. Perched dramatically along the rocky coastline, it offers breathtaking ocean views and is considered one of the most scenic temples in Korea.

Next, we will visit the famous Haeundae Beach, where we will have time to relax and soak in the atmosphere of this beloved seaside destination. Our final stop will be the spectacular Oryukdo Skywalk, a glass-floored walkway suspended above the cliffs, offering stunning panoramic views of the coastline, the deep blue sea, and the nearby Oryukdo Islets.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotel to relax.

After enjoying our breakfast, we will meet at the hotel at the scheduled time to begin a day dedicated to exploring some of Busan’s most iconic attractions, where tradition, creativity, and modernity come together.

Our first stop will be the colorful Gamcheon Culture Village, often referred to as the “Machu Picchu of Busan” due to its hillside homes, maze-like alleys, vibrant murals, public art installations, and charming cafés. From here, we will enjoy spectacular views of the city and coastline.

Next, we will head to scenic Songdo Beach, where we will experience a memorable ride aboard the Songdo Marine Cable Car. As we glide above the sea, we will take in breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline, cliffs, and surrounding landscapes.

We will then visit the famous Jagalchi Fish Market, Korea’s largest seafood market, where we can observe the lively atmosphere of local vendors and fishermen. Our journey will continue through BIFF Square, the cultural heart of Busan and home of the renowned Busan International Film Festival, followed by free time to stroll along Nampodong Shopping Street, one of the city's most popular shopping districts.

To conclude the day, we will visit the innovative Arte Museum Busan, an immersive digital art museum where stunning visual displays are enhanced by sound, light, and sensory effects, creating a truly unique experience. At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotel to relax.

After enjoying our breakfast, we will meet at the hotel at the scheduled time and begin our journey to Gayasan National Park, one of South Korea’s most important natural and spiritual landmarks.

Upon arrival, we will visit the historic Haeinsa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for housing the famous Tripitaka Koreana, an invaluable collection of more than 80,000 wooden printing blocks engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Created during the Goryeo Dynasty, this remarkable treasure is considered one of the most significant cultural and religious achievements in Asia.

Following our temple visit, we will continue to Andong, a city celebrated for preserving Korea’s traditional culture and heritage. Here, we will explore Hahoe Folk Village, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its noble residences, traditional architecture, and its famous mask dance performances, one of Korea’s most iconic cultural traditions.

After discovering this fascinating historical village, we will continue our journey to Chungju, where we will check in at the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Greca Tip: The Tripitaka Koreana is regarded as one of the most complete and best-preserved collections of Buddhist scriptures in the world, making Haeinsa Temple a true cultural treasure of Korea.

After enjoying our breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and head to the pier to enjoy a relaxing scenic boat ride, taking in the beautiful lakeside landscapes of the region. (Please note that this activity is subject to weather and water conditions and may be replaced with an alternative attraction if necessary.)

We will then continue to one of the traditional Buddhist temples selected for our Temple Stay Experience: Samhwasa Temple, Woljeongsa Temple, or Shinheungsa Temple, depending on availability at the time of booking.

Upon arrival, we will be provided with traditional temple attire and receive a brief orientation introducing the rules and activities of this unique cultural experience. Later, we will enjoy a simple yet authentic vegetarian temple dinner, followed by a guided tour of the temple grounds and participation in an evening Buddhist ceremony, offering a meaningful insight into Korea’s monastic traditions and spiritual practices.

Tonight’s accommodation will be in traditional Korean-style shared rooms, equipped with floor mattresses and blankets, following the customary lodging style of Buddhist temples.

Guests who prefer not to stay at the temple may request hotel accommodation at the time of booking. Those selecting this option will spend the night at a hotel and enjoy breakfast there the following morning instead of participating in the Temple Stay morning Buddhist ceremony.

After enjoying our breakfast, and for those who wish to participate, the day may begin with the optional early morning Buddhist worship ceremony at the temple. Afterwards, we will bid farewell to this peaceful spiritual setting and continue our journey through northeastern South Korea.

Our first stop will be Goseong, where we will visit the DMZ Unification Observatory, one of the closest viewpoints from which visitors can see Mount Geumgang (Kumgang) in North Korea. We will also explore the DMZ Museum, which provides valuable insights into the history of the Demilitarized Zone and the ecological significance of this unique border region.

Next, we will continue to the lively Sokcho Tourist & Fishery Market, a perfect place to experience local culture and cuisine. Here, we will discover a wide variety of fresh seafood, regional specialties, and traditional food stalls that showcase the flavors and daily life of Korea’s eastern coast.

Following the visit, we will travel to the area surrounding Seorak National Park, where we will check in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight stay will be in Sokcho / Mt. Seorak.

The visit to the DMZ Unification Observatory is subject to local conditions and may be replaced with an alternative attraction if necessary.

After enjoying our breakfast, we will meet at the scheduled time to explore one of South Korea’s most spectacular natural treasures: Mt. Seorak National Park, renowned for its dramatic mountain peaks, dense forests, and crystal-clear streams that transform with the changing seasons.

During our visit, we will explore the historic Shinheungsa Temple, one of the region’s most important Buddhist temples, beautifully surrounded by nature. We will then enjoy a cable car ride to Gwongeumseong Fortress, where breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains and valleys await.

In addition to its stunning scenery, Mt. Seorak has been designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, recognized for its remarkable biodiversity and well-preserved ecosystems.

After completing our visit, we will return to Seoul. Upon arrival, the remainder of the afternoon will be free for you to explore the city at your own pace, enjoy some shopping, or simply relax. Overnight stay in Seoul.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, it will be time to bid farewell to Korea and the unforgettable journey we have shared. We will check out of our rooms and prepare for the next stage of our travels.

At the scheduled time, our local driver will meet you in the hotel lobby, approximately 4 hours before your flight departure, and provide a comfortable transfer to either Incheon International Airport or Gimpo Airport. The exact pick-up time will be arranged according to your flight schedule, ensuring a smooth and stress-free journey to the airport.
