Greca Tip: Nairobi is one of the few capitals in the world with a national park at its doorstep — Nairobi National Park, where lions, rhinos and giraffes roam against the backdrop of the city skyline.

The day begins with breakfast at the hotel before setting out toward the heart of the Great Rift Valley, one of the most impressive geological formations in Africa. Leaving the city of Nairobi behind, we travel to the peaceful Lake Naivasha, the highest freshwater lake in the region, located at nearly 1,900 meters above sea level.
Surrounded by volcanic landscapes and sedimentary formations, the lake stands out for its natural richness and remarkable biodiversity. Covering more than 130 km², it is home to over 400 bird species, making it a true paradise for nature lovers. Its calm waters also host a large population of hippos, which can often be observed in their natural habitat.
Upon arrival, we will enjoy an included lunch, allowing time to relax and take in the surroundings. In the afternoon, those who wish may opt for a boat ride (optional) to observe hippo colonies and birdlife such as fish eagles and marabou storks. There is also the possibility of a guided excursion to Crescent Island (optional), where we walk alongside a local guide among wildebeest, zebras, giraffes and gazelles in a unique open environment without predators.
As the day comes to an end, we head to our accommodation in the lake area, where an included dinner awaits, offering a perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of this natural setting.
Greca Tip: Lake Naivasha was a filming location for Out of Africa, which helped bring international attention to its stunning landscapes.

The day begins with breakfast at the lodge, enjoying the final views of Lake Naivasha before setting off toward one of Africa’s most iconic destinations. We travel to the Masai Mara National Reserve, crossing once again the vast landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, whose open scenery sets the stage for the experience ahead.
We arrive at our camp in time to enjoy an included lunch, surrounded by a natural environment that immediately immerses us in the essence of an African safari. In the afternoon, we embark on our first game drive through the reserve, a world-renowned area celebrated for its exceptional concentration of wildlife and outstanding safari experiences.
The Masai Mara forms part of a larger ecosystem that extends into the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, and is the setting for the famous Great Migration between July and October. As we explore, the landscape reveals its hidden life—what may seem like a bush could be a pride of lions, and what appears to be a rock might suddenly move as a rhinoceros crosses the plains. The presence of the “Big Five”—lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo and rhinos—makes every moment truly unforgettable.
At the end of the safari, we return to the camp where an included dinner awaits, allowing us to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the savannah under a star-filled sky, fully immersed in the magic of the African wilderness.
Greca Tip: The Masai Mara National Reserve is considered one of the best wildlife reserves in the world, especially during the Great Migration, one of the most spectacular natural events on Earth.

The day begins with breakfast at the camp, set in the heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve, as we prepare for a full day of exploration in one of the most fascinating ecosystems on Earth. Throughout the day, we venture into the savannah in search of the iconic “Big Five,” while discovering the extraordinary biodiversity that defines this unique reserve.
The Masai Mara is home to more than 450 animal species and over 570 bird species, making it a privileged destination for wildlife observation. During our game drives, we may encounter lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos and a wide variety of antelope, as well as birds of prey such as eagles and vultures. Each safari reveals new scenes of life in the wild, where nature unfolds in its purest form.
An included lunch will be enjoyed during the day, allowing time to pause and appreciate the surroundings. Those who wish may also opt for additional experiences such as a hot air balloon safari (optional) or a cultural visit to local Maasai communities, whose traditions have remained largely unchanged and are closely connected to wildlife conservation.
Between July and October, this region becomes the stage for the Great Migration, when thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania into the Masai Mara, creating one of the most spectacular natural events in the world.
At the end of the day, we return to the camp where an included dinner awaits, offering a peaceful evening surrounded by the sounds of the African savannah.
Greca Tip: The Masai Mara National Reserve is not only famous for the Great Migration, but also for being one of the best places in the world to observe predators in action year-round.

The day begins with an early breakfast at the camp, preparing us to continue our journey through East Africa. We leave behind the Masai Mara National Reserve and head toward the Isebania border, the crossing point between Kenya and Tanzania, where we will complete the necessary formalities to begin our experience in Tanzanian territory.
Our destination is the legendary Serengeti National Park, one of the most iconic wildlife reserves in the world. Its vast open plains, with very little dense vegetation, provide exceptional conditions for wildlife viewing. This environment hosts an extraordinary diversity of wildlife year-round, particularly renowned for its population of large predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs, alongside elephants, giraffes, hyenas, hippos, rhinos and a wide variety of antelope and bird species.
During the journey, we will enjoy an included picnic lunch as we make our way into the heart of the Serengeti, allowing us to experience the safari in a continuous and immersive way. Between July and October, this region becomes the stage for the Great Migration, one of the most spectacular natural events on Earth, when thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross these plains in search of fresh grazing lands.
For those seeking a faster alternative, there is the option to take a flight (optional). Upon arrival, after enjoying an included dinner, we will have the evening free to relax and begin to take in the vastness and serenity of this unique environment.
Greca Tip: The Serengeti National Park takes its name from a Maasai word meaning “endless plains,” a perfect description of its wide-open landscapes and infinite horizons.

The day begins at dawn, enjoying breakfast at the camp in the heart of Serengeti National Park, as we prepare for a full day dedicated to wildlife observation in one of Africa’s most iconic landscapes. These endless plains capture the true essence of the continent, where wildlife thrives in a fascinating balance between predators and herbivores.
Early in the morning, we set out on a game drive, the ideal time to witness animals at their most active. The Serengeti is home to vast herds of grazing animals such as wildebeest, zebras and gazelles, which in turn attract predators like lions, leopards and cheetahs, creating unforgettable scenes of life in the wild.
During the warmer hours of the day, we return to the camp to enjoy an included lunch and some time to relax, allowing us to recharge before continuing the experience. In the afternoon, we head out once again for another game drive, taking advantage of the cooler temperatures when wildlife activity increases.
Depending on animal movements and viewing opportunities, the day’s schedule may be adapted to maximize the experience, potentially continuing as a full-day safari. At the end of the day, we return to the camp where an included dinner awaits, offering the perfect setting to reflect on the day’s discoveries surrounded by the vast African savannah.
Greca Tip: Serengeti National Park is one of the best places in the world to observe predator-prey interactions, especially during the early morning and late afternoon hours.

The day begins with an early breakfast at the camp, as the sunrise illuminates the plains of Serengeti National Park, preparing us to continue our journey through some of Tanzania’s most iconic landscapes. We will set out on a game drive en route, offering a final opportunity to observe wildlife in this extraordinary environment, where every moment may reveal unique scenes of nature in action.
As we continue, we head toward the impressive highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most unique ecosystems on the planet. Formed millions of years ago after the collapse of a volcano, the Ngorongoro Crater spans approximately 260 km² and reaches a depth of around 600 meters, creating an exceptional natural habitat.
This remarkable environment hosts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, with nearly 25,000 animals living permanently within the crater, making it one of the best places in Tanzania for wildlife viewing. We will arrive at our lodge in time to enjoy an included lunch, surrounded by breathtaking scenery that invites relaxation.
In the afternoon, we will have time to unwind and enjoy the lodge’s facilities, immersed in the tranquility of this unique setting, before continuing our adventure in the days ahead. An included dinner will be served at the lodge.
Greca Tip: The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the few places in Africa where it is possible to spot the “Big Five” in a single day thanks to the high concentration of wildlife within the crater.

The day begins with breakfast at the lodge as we prepare for one of the most iconic experiences of the journey: descending into the Ngorongoro Crater. Equipped with our picnic lunch, we venture into this unique environment, widely regarded as a true microcosm of Africa’s natural habitats and often described as a real “Garden of Eden.”
Formed from the collapse of an ancient volcanic caldera, this crater of approximately 300 km² hosts an extraordinary variety of landscapes, including riverine forests, open plains, and both freshwater and alkaline lakes. As we descend nearly 600 meters to the crater floor, the scenery unfolds in spectacular fashion, revealing a truly breathtaking natural setting.
Thanks to its high concentration of wildlife, this is one of the best places in Africa for animal viewing within a relatively compact area. During our safari, we have excellent chances of spotting a wide range of species, including the endangered black rhinoceros, one of the continent’s most remarkable animals.
At midday, we will enjoy our picnic lunch surrounded by nature and wildlife. In the afternoon, we ascend from the crater and return to the lodge, where we can relax and enjoy an included dinner in a peaceful setting, fully immersed in this unique environment.
Greca Tip: The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the largest intact volcanic calderas in the world, allowing for an exceptional concentration of wildlife in a relatively small area.

The day begins with breakfast at the lodge, enjoying the final moments in the unique setting of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before beginning our journey back to Arusha. Along the way, the landscapes of northern Tanzania accompany us, offering a gradual transition from volcanic highlands to more dynamic and urban surroundings.
Arrival in Arusha is expected around midday. Known as the gateway to the country’s major national parks, it is a key hub for safari routes. The remainder of the day will be at leisure, allowing time to rest or continue exploring at your own pace, adapting the experience to your personal interests.
For those wishing to further discover the region’s natural beauty, several optional activities are available, including safaris in Lake Manyara National Park or Tarangire National Park, both renowned for their scenic landscapes and abundant wildlife. More active options include visits to the elephant caves and Endoro waterfalls, or walking and cycling tours in local communities near Lake Manyara, offering a closer connection to local life.
At the end of the day, we will settle into our accommodation in Arusha, where we can relax and enjoy a peaceful conclusion to the day in this welcoming environment.
Greca Tip: Arusha is known as the safari capital of Tanzania, as most expeditions to parks such as Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Tarangire National Park depart from here.

After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, we will prepare for the final leg of our journey in Tanzania. You will be transferred from your hotel in Arusha to Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your onward flight awaits.
During the drive, take in the last glimpses of the verdant highlands and rural landscapes that have framed your safari adventure. This is the perfect moment to reflect on the unforgettable experiences of the past days — from the majestic wildlife of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro to the serene beauty of Lake Manyara and Tarangire, as your remarkable Tanzanian journey with Greca comes to a close.
Greca Tip: The route to Kilimanjaro Airport offers stunning views of Mount Meru and the surrounding highlands — a final chance to capture the essence of Tanzania before your departure.
