Package Tour Itinerary: Magno

After your arrival in the mythical city of Athens, the transfer to your hotel will be conducted in one of our private vehicles. A member of our English speaking team will meet you at your hotel, help you with the check-in, inform you of all the details of your trip, introduce you to the city and its everyday way of life and answer any questions you may have. The rest of the day will be free for you to relax and enjoy Athens at your own pace.
Greca Tip: Extend your stay by adding more nights during Step 1 of 3 of your booking!

After your breakfast, and at the agreed time, you will commence the panoramic tour of the Athenian Neoclassical Center: the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the University, the Library, and National Academy, the Ilion Palace, the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Gate, the Panathenaic Stadium, and many other monuments and sites of great interest. You will learn all there is to know about their history and background from the licensed English-speaking Tour Guide accompanying you on this tour.
Your next stop will be the "sacred rock", the spectacular, unique and magnificent Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. The entrance fee to both sites is included.
At the end of the visit, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the closest point.
In the evening, we have included a guided walking tour that will take you through the prettiest residential districts of the capital, such as Anafiotika, Thissio, Monastiraki, and Plaka.
Greca Tip: In Plaka look for something alluring, like ceramics, musical instruments, handmade jewelry to specialty food shops stacked high with olives and spices.

Early in the morning, your assistant will escort you to Piraeus port in one of our private vehicles and you will take the ferry to the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos. The crossing is scheduled at the ideal time of the day so that you can enjoy the sun on deck and marvel at the deep blue of the Aegean Sea. The name of the island denotes "heap of stones" or "rocky place", but a later version connects it to the hero Mykonos, son of the king of Delos, Anius.
Upon your arrival, one of our English-speaking representatives will welcome you, transfer you to your hotel and introduce you to this famous island.
The rest of the day is free for you to relax and immerse yourself in the 'slow' way of life of the natives.
Greca Tip: You can select a fast ferry during step 1 of 3 of your reservation.

Free day to enjoy this magnificent island. Mykonos is the meeting point of the international "jet set", famous for its wonderful beaches, the dazzling shops and vibrant nightlife.
The island's cuisine is mainly Mediterranean, which means that vegetables and olive oil are an integral part of the daily menu, together with certain spices (oregano, basil ...) as well as fish and seafood dishes.
Just a short distance away by ferry, there is the historic island of Delos, which, according to Greek mythology, was the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. This small island, inhabited since 3000 B.C., was one of the most important cultural centers of antiquity.
Greca tip: We recommend hiring a car or a motorcycle to venture out on the island, experience the local customs and feel like a Mykonian, too.

After a tasty breakfast, appreciating life like a Greek, we will pick you up at the agreed time, in one of our private vehicles, to drive you to the port, where you will continue on to your next destination, the island that is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, Santorini. As the ferry approaches the port, you will admire the capital city of Fira, with its white houses perched on the cliffside and facing the volcano.
Upon disembarkation, one of our English-speaking representatives will welcome you, escort you to your hotel and introduce you to some of the most outstanding features of this picturesque island. The rest of the day is free for you to wander through the narrow streets and become part of this amazing world.
Greca Tip: Sit back and enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world from one of the coffee shops in glamorous Oia.

Free day to explore, at your own pace, this magical island, considered to be the lost continent of Atlantis. The name of the island was given by the Venetian Giacomo Barozzi due to the presence of a chapel dedicated to Saint Eirini. His descendants remained until 1576, when the island became part of the Duchy of Naxos and until the Turkish conquest by Piyale Pasha.
Optionally, you may choose to go on a dazzling sailboat tour that will take you over to the small islands of the caldera, Nea and Palea Kameni, with the hot springs of green and yellow waters.
Greca Tip: On this free day, we recommend exploring the island, tasting its wine and its excellent local cuisine. We cannot miss tasting the tomatokeftedes (a kind of tomato balls), the fava dishes (a vegetable smaller than a pea) and the cheese called Chloro.

At the time indicated you will be transferred to Santorini airport to board your flight to Istanbul via Athens.
After your arrival in the city that was once Byzantium (and later Constantinople), an English-speaking assistant will be waiting for you at the airport. He will inform you about all the details of your itinerary, answer your questions and offer you a brief presentation of the city and its day to day life.
The transfer to your hotel will take place in one of our private vehicles and your assistant will help you with the check-in. The rest of the day will be free for you to relax and start enjoying this stunning city.
Greca Tip: Head to Ortaköy, the area for upmarket chic, where you will also find a strip of stands serving kumpir, Turkey's answer to the jacket potato. Pick your spud and toppings and savor the seaside views while you eat on your feet.

After a delicious breakfast and, at the time indicated, we will pick you up from your hotel, or the nearest meeting point, to begin the full day tour of this magnificent city. It includes an official English-speaking guide, tickets, lunch at a central restaurant and a visit to the most resplendent monuments that the Ottoman, Byzantine and Roman empires have left to future generations: Hagia Sophia, Constantinople Racecourse, The Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar, which houses more than 4000 stores inside.
After the visit, you can linger a little longer in the beautiful Sultanahmed neighborhood or you can return to your hotel straight after your tour by covering the individual cost of the transfer.
Greca Tip: Make sure you try the delicious apple tea served hot or cold.

Early in the morning, and at the time indicated, you will start your full-day city tour. The first place to visit together with your English-Speaking guide is the Egyptian Market or Spice Bazaar, one of the largest in the city. It has been open since the mid-17th century and has fulfilled exactly the same function since then. Istanbul was the last city of the Silk Road and played an important role in the east-west cultural and economic exchange, thus becoming a distribution center for the whole of Europe.
After practicing your bargaining skills and enjoying the aroma of the spices, nuts, dried fruits, cheeses and flowers, your guide will accompany you to the port, where you will continue your adventure by the sea. You will sail in the Bosphorus and have the opportunity to gain a different perspective of the Golden Horn. From your cruise boat you will see at a glance how the continents of Asia and Europe converge in this city.
After the tour, there is the possibility of continuing your adventure by having a classic Turkish lunch in a typical restaurant, by visiting the Asian part of the city with the views offered from the Camlica Hill and, above all, by becoming acquainted with the summer palace of “Beylerbeyi”, which looks its most attractive from the Bosphorus. From here you will also enjoy a good view of its two bathing pavilions, one for the harem (women's only) and the other for the selamik (men's only). It was the residence of Sultan Mahmut II and it literally means "Lord of the Lords."
At the end of the tour you will make your own way to your hotel.
Greca Tip: Instead of returning to the hotel, you can continue the adventure with one of our interesting optional evening activities.

You will enjoy your breakfast and, at the time indicated, we will transfer you to Istanbul airport to board your international flight.
From all of us at Greca, we wish you a safe journey and hope to see you again soon to create more wonderful moments that will be etched in your memory forever.
Have a nice trip! Or as the locals say: "Iyi yolculuklar!"
Greca Tip: If you think that your stay in Istanbul was too short, you can add additional nights at the time of your booking.
