Important Notes:

In the morning, we will gather at the tour starting point, where the guide will provide instructions to begin this full-day journey through three exceptional historical sites.
Our first stop will be Windsor, a royal town with a unique charm. You will have free time to stroll through its streets and soak in its historical atmosphere. Entry to Windsor Castle—the oldest and largest continuously inhabited royal residence in the world—is included in the tour. We will explore the State Apartments, the Waterloo Chamber, the King’s and Queen’s Rooms, and admire masterpieces by artists such as Leonardo da Vinci and Rembrandt. We will also visit St. George’s Chapel, the site of many royal weddings, including that of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and the final resting place of Queen Elizabeth II.
Next, we will head to Stonehenge, one of the most enigmatic prehistoric monuments in the world. Entry to the site is included, allowing us to get up close to its impressive Neolithic stones, which have stood on the Salisbury Plains for approximately 5,000 years. During the visit, we will explore fascinating theories about its origin and purpose, ranging from its possible astronomical use to its function as a ceremonial site.
To conclude our tour, we will arrive in Bath, a city designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This Georgian gem is renowned for its exceptional architecture and its iconic Roman Baths, whose entry is also included. These ancient thermal baths, built in the 1st century AD over natural hot springs, were used by the Romans for their supposed healing properties. You will have the opportunity to marvel at this historic structure and enjoy breathtaking views of the site.
At the end of the day, we will return to London, with an estimated arrival at 8:00 PM at Gloucester Road.
Greca Tip: The stones used in Stonehenge come from quarries located several kilometers away. Moving and erecting these huge stones without the modern equipment available today is an astonishing feat.
