At the indicated time, we will meet at the meeting point along the iconic Royal Mile, in the heart of Edinburgh, next to the historic Edinburgh Castle, to begin a unique experience dedicated to one of the most iconic symbols of Scotland: whisky.
Our visit will take place at The Scotch Whisky Experience, the only visitor attraction in the world that offers a true “grand tour” through Scotland’s five whisky-producing regions. During this interactive guided experience of approximately 50 minutes, we will embark on a fascinating sensory journey that reveals how climate, geography, and tradition shape the aromas and flavors of each region. Along the way, we will explore everything from the delicate, fruity whiskies of Speyside to the bold, smoky character of the whiskies from Islay.
We will also delve into the art of blending, discovering the secrets and craftsmanship behind creating the perfect whisky. The experience continues with a visit to the impressive glass and marble vault that houses one of the world’s largest collections of Scotch whisky, widely considered one of the seven wonders of the Scotch whisky world.
During the tour, we will enjoy a whisky tasting where you may choose between a single malt or blended Scotch whisky, with a soft drink option available. As a souvenir of this memorable experience, we will also receive an elegant crystal whisky tasting glass.
At the end of the visit, we will have time to continue exploring the surroundings of the Royal Mile or discover more of Edinburgh’s historic atmosphere, taking with us a deeper appreciation for the tradition, flavor, and culture of Scotch whisky.
