At the scheduled time, we will be picked up to begin our journey into Santorini’s winemaking traditions.
The experience begins in the afternoon with a visit to the renowned Hatzidakis Winery, a family-owned estate celebrated for its organic vineyards and traditional winemaking methods. During the tour, we will discover the secrets of local wine production and, guided by an expert sommelier, enjoy a tasting of their finest wines against the backdrop of Santorini’s sun-soaked landscapes.
Next, we will head to the Koutsoyannopoulos Wine Museum, where a local guide will take us on a journey through the island’s winemaking history and traditions. We will learn more about the evolution of this craft and the distinctive characteristics that make Santorini’s wines a unique expression of its volcanic origins.
To conclude the day, we will travel to Oia, one of Santorini’s most iconic villages, perched atop the spectacular cliffs of the Caldera. There, we will visit the Sun Spirit Cocktail Bar, a privileged spot to relax with a drink while admiring the world-famous sunset, as the sun slowly sinks into the waters of the Aegean Sea.
