After meeting in the morning at the designated meeting point, we will begin a journey that will connect you with the historical soul of the Portuguese capital.
We will start with a panoramic tour by minivan through the Belém district, birthplace of the great Portuguese navigators. From the outside, we will admire the imposing Belém Tower, a symbol of the Age of Discoveries, and the monumental Padrão dos Descobrimentos, which pays tribute to the heroes who ventured into the ocean in search of the unknown. In front of the majestic Jerónimos Monastery, our guide will share the history of this Manueline masterpiece, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
During the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste the unmistakable Pastel de Belém, a sweet symbol of Portuguese tradition that captivates from the very first bite.
Next, we will enjoy a guided walking tour through the Baixa-Chiado district, a charming cultural hub filled with historic cafés, emblematic squares, and century-old bookshops. We will finish with a panoramic tour of three fundamental squares in Lisbon’s daily life: the Praça do Comércio, the lively Rossio, and the elegant Praça Marquês de Pombal.
Arrival back at the meeting point is expected around 12:00 p.m., concluding an unforgettable morning in Lisbon.
