Full day tour to Loire Valley Castles from Paris

From Paris, we will embark on an extraordinary journey to the heart of the Loire Valley, a region renowned for its majestic castles and enchanting landscapes. Early in the morning, we will meet our guide and depart in a comfortable air-conditioned coach, beginning this unique experience.

Our first stop will be the impressive Château de Chambord, the largest of the Loire castles. Upon arrival, we will be amazed by its grand Renaissance architecture. With priority access, we will quickly enter to begin a guided tour through its elegant rooms, ascending the famous double-helix staircase attributed to Leonardo da Vinci. From the panoramic terrace, we will enjoy exceptional views of the park while learning about the history of this masterpiece commissioned by King Francis I of France.

We will then continue our journey through the picturesque landscapes of the Loire Valley, occasionally following the river and admiring vast open fields that convey a sense of serenity. We will arrive at the elegant Château de Chenonceau, known as the “Ladies’ Castle.” After an introduction from our guide, we will enjoy an approximately one-hour guided tour, exploring its refined rooms adorned with tapestries, floral arrangements, and artworks. Its unique position spanning the Cher River gives it a fairytale-like atmosphere, while its history reflects the influence of remarkable women in French history.

After the visit, you will have free time to stroll through its beautiful gardens along the river and enjoy lunch in the surrounding area, following your guide’s recommendations.

In the afternoon, we will head to the charming Château de Cheverny, a stately residence inhabited by the same family for more than six centuries. There, we will explore its remarkably preserved interiors and wander through its park, home to six themed gardens, including the unique “Jardin Sucré.” You will also discover its famous kennels, known for breeding hunting dogs.

At around 5:00 pm, we will begin our return journey to Paris, with an expected arrival at approximately 8:00 pm, after a day filled with history, elegance, and unforgettable scenery.
