Important

At the appointed time, we'll gather at the meeting point to begin this chilling visit. After more than a century and a half, the mystery surrounding the Whitechapel murders never ceases to fascinate scholars, inspiring research, books, and movies.
Jack the Ripper is the name given to a serial killer from the second half of the 19th century who remains unidentified to this day. He is attributed to at least five murders in the London district of Whitechapel in the year 1888, characterized by throat slashing, mutilations in the genital and abdominal areas, organ removal, and facial disfigurement.
The tour will take you, among other places, through Aldgate High Street and Mitre Square, where two of the victims died, as well as Goulston Street, a street that attracted many suspicions, and Hanbury Street, where the horribly mutilated body of another victim, Anne Chapman, was found.
The tour concludes near Liverpool Street Underground Station.
Greca Tip: There are a series of letters that were sent to the police and newspapers, supposedly written by the killer himself. These letters, known as the 'Jack the Ripper Letters,' contained details about the crimes that had not been publicly disclosed and were signed with the ominous nickname.
