We will meet at the designated meeting point, the Sihlquai Bus Station, from where we will begin a panoramic tour aboard a comfortable, climate-controlled coach. In the morning, we will pass by the impressive Swiss National Museum, the elegant shopping avenue Bahnhofstrasse, and Zurich’s financial district. We will stop for photos at Enge Harbour to admire the deep-blue waters of Lake Zurich, then continue through the university quarter, viewing the ETH Zurich, the University of Zurich, and the Kunsthaus Art Museum before entering the charming Old Town.
On foot, we will discover historic guild houses, the Church of St. Peter with Europe’s largest clock face, the majestic Grossmünster, and the Fraumünster, famous for its stained-glass windows by Marc Chagall.
Leaving the urban bustle behind, we will continue along the picturesque Gold Coast to Meilen, where we will cross the lake by ferry to Adliswil. There, we will board the only aerial cable car in the canton of Zurich to ascend to the Felsenegg viewpoint, enjoying spectacular views of the city, the lake, and the snow-capped Alps. After breathing in the fresh forest air, around 5:30 pm, we will arrive back at the departure point to conclude the tour.
Greca Tip: Have your camera ready at Felsenegg; on clear days, the contrast between the lake and the Alps creates one of Switzerland’s most beautiful postcards.
