At the scheduled time, we will meet in the heart of Milan to begin an unmissable experience for those who feel music as part of their personal history. We will step inside the iconic Teatro alla Scala, internationally recognized as one of the most prestigious opera houses in the world and a true symbol of Italy’s lyrical tradition.
Accompanied by a specialized guide, we will explore the museum, home to an extraordinary collection of costumes, musical instruments, and original documents that narrate centuries of artistic excellence. Portraits and busts pay tribute to legendary figures such as Giuseppe Verdi and Arturo Toscanini, whose legacy profoundly shaped the theatre’s history.
The visit continues into the main auditorium, where the elegance of the royal box, the magnificent crystal chandelier, and the remarkable acoustics reveal why this stage has witnessed unforgettable premieres. If rehearsals are taking place, we may even have the privilege of observing artists at work, experiencing the theatre in its most authentic and vibrant form.
Greca Tip: La Scala was inaugurated in 1778, and to this day, each opera season traditionally opens on December 7th, the feast day of Saint Ambrose, patron saint of Milan.
