The city of Venice established an entry fee for visitors who do not stay overnight in the city and enter between 08:30 am and 04:00 pm on the following days:
April: 18-30
May: 01-04, 09-11, 16-18, 23-25, 30-31
June: 01-02, 06-08, 13-15, 20-22, 27-29
July: 04-05, 11-13, 18-20, 25-27

With this wonderful tour, you will not only enjoy gliding through Venice canals in a Gondola, but you will also have the opportunity to discover the city from a different perspective. Moving about in a gondola has always been the most common Venetian means of transport.
Your tour begins at the meeting point, Plaza de San Marcos Calle Larga Ascensione 1256, in front of the post office from where at about 17:15 you will board your gondola boat.
The tour lasts 35 minutes, with up to 6 people per gondola, through the Grand Canal, the Santa Maria della Salute area as well as through other canals in the Fenice area.
This is one of the experiences that you cannot miss in Venice. The success of this particular means of transport is due to its incomparable speed and maneuverability. What is more, its construction is more complex and takes almost a year to complete.
The gondola is made up of 280 different pieces and 8 different types of wood. It is undoubtedly a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. Despite its considerable length, the gondola is extremely manageable and can also be handled in small spaces, such as the endless narrow canals of Venice.
The best part of this experience will be your gondolier, who will hypnotize you with his incredible balancing skills and dexterity. Gondoliers must wear black pants, dark shoes, and striped shirts. Almost all of them are men but now there are also women gondoliers.
The tour will come to an end upon your arrival at the Vallaresso Station in Dogana.
