At the scheduled time, we will meet at the White Rabbit Museum to begin our guided visit.
The experience will begin outside Casa Batlló, where its imposing façade will leave you speechless. Its undulating balconies and the explosion of colors in Antoni Gaudí’s Modernist architecture evoke the movement of the sea, as if the building were breathing to the rhythm of the waves.
We will then step inside to immerse ourselves in the creative universe of Barcelona’s most iconic architect. As we walk through its elegant rooms, we will discover how the Batlló family lived at the beginning of the 20th century, surrounded by striking details, organic forms, and an aesthetic harmony that seems endless.
We will explore the main floor, home to the grand hall with privileged views over Passeig de Gràcia. We will pass through the main dining room and the Modernist courtyard—an airy, light-filled space that enhances every step with its unique atmosphere.
From there, we will ascend to the famous rooftop, crossing the inner courtyard dominated by shades of blue, where looking through the glass will make you feel as if you were under the sea. On the terrace, we will marvel at the chimneys decorated with the trencadís technique, where Gaudí cared for even the smallest detail. And here comes the great mystery: the house hides a dragon… will you be able to find it? You will have a short free time to take photos and enjoy the city views from this extraordinary spot.
To conclude, we will access the Gaudí Cube, a 360º immersive experience that will take you straight into the genius’ mind, surrounding you with light, shapes, and unforgettable sensations.
Greca Tip: For an unforgettable photo, stand on the curved section of the roof (the “dragon’s back”) and look for the spot where the mosaic changes shades—this is where the trencadís effect is best appreciated. And if you wish to continue the Modernist spirit, stroll along Passeig de Gràcia at sunset, when the façades take on a truly special glow.
