Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius from Naples Full-Day

The tour begins at the meeting point in Piazza Garibaldi, where we gather to start an unforgettable journey through history and nature. From here, we travel towards Pompeii, one of the world’s most extraordinary archaeological sites.

Before entering the ruins, we make a brief stop at a traditional cameo factory, where these ancient Roman-style jewels are still handcrafted today. Afterwards, we access the site for a 2-hour guided visit led by an official archaeological guide. Walking along Pompeii’s cobblestone streets, we explore ancient Roman houses, the Forum, thermal baths, theaters, and—when accessible—the moving plaster casts of the victims. The guide’s storytelling brings the city back to life, revealing daily routines abruptly halted by the eruption of 79 AD.

Following the visit, we enjoy a well-deserved break with a light Italian lunch at a carefully selected local restaurant or farmhouse. The menu includes fresh salad, a pasta dish, and water, offering a relaxing moment to recharge and share impressions with the group.

In the afternoon, we continue towards Mount Vesuvius. Upon reaching the National Park, we begin the final ascent to the crater, accompanied by a specialized volcanological guide. Walking along the rim, you will learn about the volcano’s geology, its dramatic history, and current activity, while enjoying spectacular 360-degree views over the Bay of Naples, stretching as far as Capri and Ischia.

At the end of the visit, we return to Naples, concluding a day rich in history, landscapes, and unforgettable moments.
