At the indicated time, we will meet at Nidri Port to begin a charming journey through some of the most fascinating islands and landscapes of the Ionian Sea. On board the Ionian Star boat, we will sail through crystal-clear waters, small green islands, and picturesque coastal corners that reflect the most authentic essence of Greece.
Our first stop will be at the historic Papanikolis Cave, an impressive sea cave linked to stories from World War II. There, we will have the opportunity to swim in its calm waters and admire the rock formations illuminated by the bluish reflections of the sea.
We will then continue to the charming village of Spartochori, one of the most traditional corners of the island of Meganisi. Its peaceful alleys, typical houses, and panoramic sea views invite visitors to stroll at leisure or enjoy a coffee overlooking the Ionian landscape.
Later, we will arrive at Gerakas Beach, a secluded beach surrounded by nature where we will have free time to swim and relax. There, we will also enjoy a delicious beach barbecue featuring Greek specialties such as souvlaki, Greek salad, tzatziki, feta cheese, and bread, accompanied by wine, soft drinks, and water included during the meal.
In the afternoon, we will stop for a swim near the famous island of Skorpios, known worldwide for having belonged to the Onassis family. During the return journey, we will enjoy panoramic sailing alongside the islands of Skorpios, Skorpidi, Sparti, and Madouri, admiring some of the most beautiful landscapes of the Ionian archipelago.
Throughout the excursion, we will be accompanied by an English-speaking guide and enjoy onboard amenities such as an indoor lounge with tables and chairs, bar, bathrooms with showers, and beach umbrellas, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing experience throughout the journey.
Greca Tip: The island of Skorpios became world-famous for being the private retreat of Aristotle Onassis and the setting of the wedding between Jacqueline Kennedy and the Greek magnate in 1968.
