TOO MANY HOURS ON THE BUS
We are aware that the places to visit are far away, but the full day excursion is long despite the fact that we had a wonderful guide: Magdalena who even taught us words in Greek. And with a lot of knowledge and very good explanations about the history of Greece.
We know that it is one of the longest excursions, but we are glad to know that you were able to enjoy it and learn about the rich Greek history!

Really excellent way to see some key sites in the Peloponnese. Bus driver Nikos and tour guide (I can't remember her name, sorry) were friendly and informative. Smooth transfers between each place. I would recommend this for any solo travellers as you can meet people. Lunch was okay, but not great.

Great for group tours!

A magnificent experience

It's worth it!!!
Very good experience. Cape Sounion with its Temple of Hercules is beautiful at sunset. The road along the coast to there is also very beautiful. The perfect tour guide and driver. An experience of 10.

Beautiful excursion.
Great although it was a bit short for me, adding a stop in Naplia would be perfect! For example, eating there instead of in a place in the middle of nowhere where the only thing you could have was what they had: a menu. Despite this, the excursion was magnificent. Thanks to the guide: Helena,

Excursion Itinerary: Argolis from athens

We will pick you up from your hotel or the nearest meeting point in the morning and set off along the scenic coastal road toward our first stop: the Corinth Canal. This remarkable 19th-century engineering work unites the Ionian and Aegean Seas and dramatically cuts through the Peloponnesian land, creating a narrow waterway ideal for stunning photographs.

Our next destination is Nafplion, a jewel of neoclassical architecture and once the first capital of modern Greece. Stroll through charming alleys, admire the grand Palamidi Fortress towering above the town, and view the small but iconic Bourtzi Castle in the harbor. You will also have free time to explore the city at your own pace.

We then continue to Mycenae, the legendary stronghold of the heroes of the Trojan War. This ancient citadel, linked to King Agamemnon and the mythical journey to reclaim Helen of Troy, is home to the impressive Lion’s Gate, the imposing Cyclopean Walls, and the monumental Treasury of Atreus. After exploring, we will enjoy a lunch break in the area.

In the afternoon, we make our way back to Athens, carrying with us vivid memories of Greece’s rich past and picturesque landscapes. Arrival is expected around 19:30 hrs.

Greca Tip: Comfortable walking shoes are recommended to fully enjoy the day’s historical sites and charming streets.
