At the indicated time, we will leave from our meeting point towards the city of Granada, where we can marvel with its buildings and monuments.
Being the last city re-conquered by the Spanish catholic monarchy in 1492 this city has a notable Arab influence.
Once in Granada, you will discover the beautiful historical centre with a guided city tour. This city, full of history, has any popular and interesting monuments and buidings. You will visit the Zoco, the Cathedral, the Royal Chapel and much more.
You will have some free time for savor some tasty local tapas, go shopping or take some photos at the famous monuments in Granada.
At the indicated time, you will meet your guide and get ready for Alhambra.
The Alhambra was declared a World Heritage Site and is considered the Eighth Wonder of the World. Immerse yourself in this fantastic construction, which has been from a King's Palace and a Palatine city to a fortress!
Inside the palace, we will move through the colored suits, courtyards, and gardens with the guide as they describe the rich history of the 9th-century fortress. Combining Islamic and Renaissance architecture, the Alhambra contains the Nasrid and Charles V Palaces, which bring the different architectures to light.
After the visit, you will return to Malaga around 7pm.
Greca Tip: The name Alhambra has its origins in an Arabic word meaning red castle due the color tone of towers and walls.
