Full-day Cruise Douro Valley with Wine Tasting

Visit one of the most famous wine regions in Portugal and the world. During this tour, you'll have the opportunity to savor the flavors, explore the monuments, and admire the landscapes of the Douro Valley, all with the guidance of a professional English-speaking tour guide.

At 07:15 am, we will meet at the designated meeting point to begin an unforgettable journey through the Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Traveling aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus and guided by a local expert, we will set out to explore one of the world’s oldest wine regions, where centuries-old vineyards embrace the winding Douro River.

Our first stop is Amarante, a charming town nestled along the Tâmega River with deep religious traditions. We’ll visit the Church and Convent of São Gonçalo, stroll through the picturesque historic center, and enjoy free time to discover its quaint streets and authentic atmosphere.

We then continue to the São Leonardo da Galafura viewpoint, one of the valley’s most breathtaking spots. At an altitude of 640 meters, a sweeping landscape of terraced vineyards will unfold before us — a scene that has inspired poets and travelers alike for generations.

At midday, we’ll savor a traditional three-course lunch in a panoramic restaurant, complete with drinks, in an authentic and welcoming setting.

In the afternoon, we head to Pinhão, where we’ll board a traditional rabelo boat for a 50-minute panoramic cruise along the Douro River. As we sail between vineyard-covered hills, we’ll admire the perfect harmony between nature and wine tradition.

To conclude the day, we’ll visit one of the region’s most prestigious wine estates, such as Quinta da Roêda (Croft/Taylor’s Group) or Quinta de São Luiz (Kopke/Calém Group). During the guided tour, we’ll uncover the secrets of local winemaking and enjoy a tasting of three premium regional wines, including the renowned Port wine.

At the end of this memorable day, we’ll return to Porto, with an estimated arrival at 6:30 pm, taking with us the flavors, landscapes, and stories of the majestic Douro Valley.
