In the morning, you will meet your guide at the specified meeting point to start the full-day visit to the most important points of interest of the largest metropolis of the African continent.
The visit, explained in detail by our official English-speaking guide, will begin with a visit to the famous pyramids of Giza, where only one of the seven wonders of the ancient world is located: The Great Pyramid of Cheops.
This funerary complex presided over by the head of King Khafre with the body of a lion can be appreciated both from the main access esplanade and up close, you will be able to enter the interior of one of the other two Khafre or Micerinos pyramids. You will have time to have lunch at a local restaurant.
At the end of the visit to the pyramids, you will stop for a leisurely lunch and continue, with renewed strength, the visit to the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in the heart of the city, where countless artifacts of incalculable value stand out, such as Tutankhamun's treasure, sarcophagi, mummies and sculptures of unimaginable beauty.
Before returning to the hotel, you will personally visit the Coptic neighborhood, with its melting pot of religions and in which the Hanging Church built on the Babylon Fortress stands out, the church of San Sergio where it is believed that the Holy Family took refuge in Egypt when fleeing of Herod and the synagogue of Ben Ezra, one of the oldest in the country.
