Hotel pickup
The tour includes pick up and drop off from/to central points in Thessaloniki city center. In step 1/3 of the booking process, we will inform you about the pickup time from your hotel or the closest pickup point.

Embark on an unforgettable journey to explore the birthplace of Aristotle and the spiritual center of Orthodoxy - Mount Athos.
Early in the morning and accompanied by our knowledgeable guide, we will leave the Thermaic Gulf behind and take in the breathtaking scenery as we travel along the beautiful route of the Castle of Rentina, where the great Greek tragedian Euripides is said to have taken his final breath.
After passing through the picturesque villages of northeast Halkidiki, we will arrive at the Acropolis of Ancient Stagira, where the renowned philosopher Aristotle was born. We will explore the ruins and discover the legacy of the teacher and mentor of Alexander the Great.
Next, we will head to the small port of Ouranoupolis and embark on a sailing adventure towards the south of the Athos Peninsula. As you cruise along the western coast, marvel at the stunning scenery and see the mysterious and miraculous monasteries that have been the spiritual center of Orthodoxy for centuries!
After returning to the port, we will enjoy some free time for lunch or swimming in Ouranoupolis while we enjoy the amazing view towards the Singitic Gulf, Athos and Sithonia Peninsulas.
Greca Tip: Unfortunately, women on Mount Athos are not allowed. Mount Athos has been an autonomous state since Byzantine times, and women are prohibited from entering.
