After meeting at the designated meeting point in London at the scheduled time, we will begin an unforgettable journey through the south of England, combining history, architecture, and ancient mystery.
In the morning, we will travel to Bath, an elegant city declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Set on the gentle slopes of the River Avon, it will captivate us with its harmonious Georgian architecture. We will stroll alongside the impressive Bath Abbey, admire the romantic charm of Pulteney Bridge, inspired by Florence’s Ponte Vecchio, and immerse ourselves in the refined atmosphere that defines this unique city.
Next, we will visit the famous Roman Baths and the Pump Room, an extraordinary and beautifully preserved thermal complex still fed by Britain’s only natural hot spring. Here, we will discover how the Romans laid the foundations of the city and, in the elegant neoclassical Pump Room, learn about the tradition of its renowned healing waters.
In the afternoon, we will head to Stonehenge, one of the world’s most enigmatic monuments. Surrounded by mystery, this impressive stone circle raises questions that remain unanswered to this day: was it a temple, a calendar, or a ceremonial center? Standing in the open landscape, its presence continues to fascinate every visitor.
We will return to London at approximately 7:00 pm.
Greca Tip: take a few moments to observe Stonehenge in silence; beyond all theories, its true magic is felt in the energy of the place and the natural surroundings that embrace it.
