Visit Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento, and Capri in 4 days

The tour will begin with your meeting with an assistant at Termini Station (about 8:00 AM) and take the high-speed train to Naples.

Upon arrival in Naples, our expert local assistant will meet you at Naples train station and you will proceed to Pompeii for a guided tour of the archaeological excavations. This ancient Roman city was destroyed when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD and buried it, preserving it under a sea of volcanic ash for nearly 1700 years.

At the end of the visit, you will be transferred to Sorrento, famous for its picturesque old town center and characteristic fisherman’s village of Marina Grande, one of the most authentic treasures of the city. A local assistant welcomes you at the hotel during the check-in and gives you all the information for the Capri excursion and the following transfer and activities. Overnight stay.

Greca Tip: the beaches around Sorrento are beautiful. Marina Grande and Marina Piccola are two popular spots, though you’re better off heading to Bagni Regina Giovanna for a more relaxing and local spot that has fewer crowds.

Breakfast in the hotel and departure for the port, according to the details provided. You will sail to Capri by traditional Gozzo Sorrentino and will enjoy a boat trip around the island and the possibility to swim into its crystal-clear waters or visit the Blue Grotto (optional entrance not included, weather permitting).

Once landed on the island, you will continue by minibus to discover it and reach the legendary Piazzetta, the heart of the island. Enjoy some free time to explore Capri at your own pace. You will return to the port to head back to Sorrento and overnight there

Greca Tip: In Capri, in all open-air places (roads, squares, beaches, etc.), included in the municipal territory of the island, it is forbidden to turn on the radio, speakers, etc. to keep the place calm (Municipality of Capri ordinance of August 2, 1963).

After a delicious breakfast, you will spend a leisurely day exploring Sorrento, the jewel of the Sorrentine peninsula, famous for the cultivation of oranges, lemon, and olive trees.

You could also opt for a day excursion to the island of Capri (not included). Return to your hotel in Sorrento for dinner and an overnight stay.

Greca Tip: Sorrento's name derives from the mermaids, sea creatures with the head (sometimes also the torso) of a woman and the body of a fish.

After breakfast in the hotel, you will have a morning of leisure in Sorrento. Direct transfer from Sorrento to Naples at around 3:30 p.m. where our local assistant at Naples train station will help you to board the high-speed train going to Rome.

The arrival at Termini Station is scheduled for around 7:00 PM.
