This house is now a church that was visited by Pope Paul VI, - John Paul II and Benedict XVI. Your next destination is the ancient city of Ephesus, the best preserved classical city in the eastern Mediterranean and one of the best places in the world to get an idea of what Roman life must have been like. Ephesus was a large city with a population of about 250,000. Rumor has it that it was founded in the 13th century BC, became the Roman capital of Asia Minor and the home of the great Temple of Artemis, a pilgrimage center and one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. During the tour, you will visit the Odeon, the grand Theater, where Saint Paul preached and had a capacity of 25,000 spectators, Curetes street, one of the main avenues, the Temple of Serapis, the elegant facades of the Temple of Hadrian, the impressive Library of Celsus, constructed with a double-wall technique to preserve the 12,000 scrolls that were housed there, old public baths, terraced houses, remains of fountains and various temples. Pamukkale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, seems to have been thrown on this planet straight from a fairy tale. Comprised of numerous calcium-based levels, filled with warm water, packed with minerals, this natural phenomenon is unlike anything you've ever witnessed. No trip to Turkey would be complete without taking a dip in the warm pools that make up the most visited attraction in the country. Also known as "Cotton Castle" Pamukkale is a marvel with its natural beauty.

Hand in hand with the town of Pamukkale is Hierapolis, an ancient Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine spa town. You will visit the remains of this ancient site consisting of the remains of columns and arches, as well as a massive open-air theater, with best preserved decorative features and holding up to 10,000 people, and a necropolis. The ruins can be freely explored and an interesting introduction to the site is given, giving visitors an idea of what the city might have looked like in its heyday. There is also a museum that showcases a variety of fascinating artifacts of the beautiful and cultural heritage of this once important city. During the tour you will have free time to swim in the antique pool, beside the Temple of Apollo.

At the end of the tour, transfer to Denizli airport to take the flight back to Istanbul. Arrival and transfer from Istanbul airport to your accommodation.
