Package Tour Itinerary: Fantastic Croatia

After your arrival at the Zagreb airport, a person of our personal will be waiting for transfer you to your hotel in one of our private vehicles.
The rest of the day will be to relax and begin to enjoy the capital of Croatia, a wonderful medieval city with beautiful streets, monumental buildings and a gastronomy that will not disappoint you.
Greca Tip: The börek is a crispy, soft and fine puff pastry that is filled with minced meat, vegetables, cheese, onion... you will find it in many street stalls.

After a tasty breakfast you will take the walking tour around Zagreb featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church from the 13th century whose interior can be considered as a sculpture, with a spectacular roof of colored tiles, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, Parliament, and Government Palace.
After the Sightseeing you will proceed to the picturesque Kvarner Bay, more precisely to Opatija, the cradle of Croatian tourism and the city which used to be the favorite spa resort of the Habsburgs and the European aristocracy including famous personalities such as Mahler, Chekhov and Isadora Duncan.

After a tasty breakfast in the hotel, it's time to get to know the Istrian peninsula and visit the 2000-year-old roman Colosseum located in Pula. Afterwards you will relax in Rovinj, perhaps the most beautiful city in Istria and the inspiration of many artists. you will have time at leisure in Rovinj and then you will departure towards Motovun for a sample of one the Istrian tastiest treasures, the truffle.
At the end of the day you will return to Opatija for overnight.

After a tasty breakfast, you will visit the most beautiful and the oldest national park in Croatia, under UNESCO protection consisting of 16 lakes connected by magnificent waterfalls. This park is located in the montainous region of Lika and visited mostly on foot.
However the entrance to the spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park includes a boat ride across the Emerald Green Lake "Kosjak". The visit of the park grounds takes aproximately 3 hours and reveals a special turquoise magic.
Have your camera ready as you take a walking tour around the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of sixteen terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation.
After enjoying this wonderful landscapes you will go to the hotel in Plitvice for dinner and accommodation.
Greca Tip: The best time to visit Plitvice National Park is during spring or autumn.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will drive down from the mountainous region of Lika across the coast towards the city of Zadar. The historic town of Zadar is rich in cultural and historical monuments. Here you will see The Roman Forum dated to the 1st century AD, the church of St. Donatus dated to the 9th century AD and among other places of special interest are the famous Zadar Sea Organs, one of a kind in the world.
From Zadar you will continue to a local winery in the Dalmatian hinterland. You will taste the authentic Dalmatian wines and international Cuvees accompanied with delicious Croatian style Tapas.
At the end of the day you will departure towards Split for overnight.
Greca Tip: The Church of St. Donatus is the largest Pre-Romanesque building in Croatia.

After a delicious breakfast you will take the sightseeing tour to Split which is the handiwork of seventeen centuries of men and women building and remodeling, adding, tearing down and touching up, so that 18th century houses intersect with ancient Roman walls and fourth century chambers now house the twentieth century apartments. At the core of this sprawling cityscape is the palace the Emperor Diocletian built for his golden years at the turn of the fourth century. At the noon you will lunch a traditional Dalmatian dish prepared for the most exclusive chefs at the Tragos restaurant in Trogir.
The town of Trogir, a UNESCO site, has a fascinating 2300 years of continuous urban tradition. Its rich culture was created under the influence of old Greeks, Romans, and Venetians. With the high concentration of palaces, churches, and towers, as well as a fortresses on a small island, Trogir is sometimes referred to as the floating museum town.
After the visit you will back toi your hotel in Split for overnight.
Greca Tip: In Split you can explore the old fishing port of Matejuška or the old cemetery in Sustipan park.

In the morning, after a tasty breakfast you will leave Split following the Croatian coast and the spectacular landscapes of islands in the sea, on your way to Dubrovnik, you will stop near the town of Ston to visit a local winery and taste the famous “Plavac Mali“ wine, a very close relative to the Zinfandel. In this winery the traditional wine making business has been passed on for generations, offering a unique story everyone wants to hear. The wine tasting includes a wine presentation on all the specifics of the wine- making process, wine tasting and a snack. After the visit to this winery you will continue your way to Dubrovnik qhere you will have dinner and overnight.

After enjoying a tasty breakfast, you will start the panoramic tour of Dubrovnik. You will go to the Pile Gate, one of the entrance doors to the historic center. Passing through this door you will enter to this special walled city that is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list.
You will visit the Rector's Palace, the Cathedral, the Franciscan Monastery and the pharmacy, which is the third oldest in Europe and the oldest that is still in operation. Then you will have the whole afternoon free to have lunch, take a walk around the walls, walk around the city or take a boat ride. At the end of your day, you will return the hotel for overnight.
Greca Tip: Allow yourself to enjoy the tranquility generated by having lunch in a restaurant facing the sea.

You will have breakfast at the hotel, and then transfer to the Dubrovnik airport.
