Package Tour Itinerary: Roman With Sardinia

When you arrive in Rome, also known as the Eternal City, a private vehicle will be ready and waiting to welcome you and take you to your hotel.
As you journey to the hotel, you'll get a glimpse of why Rome is considered the epitome of historical richness in the Western world. You have the rest of the day free to unwind and enjoy the Italian capital at your leisure.

After enjoying a delightful breakfast, you'll have the entire day to explore Rome at your own pace. With countless options at your fingertips, you can choose to wander around on foot, visit magnificent monuments, indulge in shopping, or savor the local cuisine, which offers a wide array of pasta, vegetable, meat, and fish dishes.
Rome holds a special place as the epicenter of the Catholic religion and boasts the highest concentration of historical and architectural treasures in the world. In 1980, Rome, along with the extraterritorial properties of the Holy See within the city and the Basilica of Saint Paul's Outside the Walls, was rightfully inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Greca Tip: If you wish, you can opt to visit the Colosseum either in the morning or the afternoon. Simply select your preference during Step 1 of the reservation process.

After breakfast and at the indicated time we will transfer to the Rome airport to board our flight to Olbia.

After a full breakfast at the hotel, we will leave by bus to Palau and embark for the main island of La Maddalena archipelago. Panoramic bus tour of the island, with stops for swimming and a visit to the center of the small coastal town. Lunch during the excursion.
In the afternoon return to Baja Sardinia and visit. We will continue to Porto Cervo, heart of the Emerald Coast, free time for a walk through the center. Return to the hotel and dinner.
Greca Tip: The Sardinia region has more than 2,000 kilometers of coastline.

We will have breakfast at the hotel and we will leave to Torralba to discover the "Nuragic" civilization that inhabited the island in the Bronze Age. We will visit the "Nuraghe" Santu Antine, one of the most imposing and best preserved in Sardinia.
Next, we will go to Codrongianos to visit the Basilica of Saccargia, a wonderful example of Romanesque-style construction. Lunch during the excursion. At the end we will continue to Alghero and visit the historic center, crossing the central streets and small squares we will reach the church dedicated to San Francisco and the cathedral dedicated to Santa Maria, where we will discover an extraordinary Catalan Gothic style. Walking along the old walls, you will also admire the different towers.
Dinner and overnight in the Alghero area.
Greca Tip: The city of Alghero was under the rule of the Crown of Aragon until 1702, and in 1720 it became part of Piedmont along with the entire island.

After a full breakfast at the hotel, we will leave to Bosa along the spectacular panoramic coastal road.
We will enjoy a short walk through the streets of this beautiful medieval town and stop to taste the famous "Malvasia de Bosa" wine. Lunch during the excursion.
Departure to Paulilatino to visit the Sacred Well of Santa Cristina with its homonymous archaeological site.
Dinner and accommodation in the area of Sardara, Guspini or surroundings.
Greca Tip: Do not leave the island without trying the Seadas, a typical Sardinian dessert, a semolina puff pastry fried and stuffed with cheese and lemon and topped with sugar or honey.

After an exquisite breakfast, we will transfer to Cagliari International Airport.
