We will enjoy breakfast at the hotel before setting off on our journey through the heart of Poland. We will travel across peaceful regions in the west of the country—territories that were part of Germany until the end of World War II.
Our first stop will be Bydgoszcz, a city full of historical charm where we will have free time to stroll through its well-preserved center, enjoy its parks and canals—which connect the Vistula and Oder rivers—and have lunch at one of its local restaurants.
We will then continue to Torun, a true gem of Polish Gothic architecture. This walled city, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is renowned for its magnificent historic center and for being the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus. You will have free time to wander through its medieval streets and, if you wish, visit the museum-house of the famous astronomer.
In the afternoon, we will resume our journey toward Warsaw, the capital of Poland, where we will arrive by the end of the day. A vibrant city that blends history, modernity, and resilience.
Greca Tip: While in Torun, don’t miss the chance to try piernik, the city’s traditional aromatic gingerbread with centuries of history. This local sweet is a true symbol of Torun and pairs perfectly with a cup of coffee or tea as you explore.
