Welcome to Portugal!
After you arrive at the Lisbon International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day will be to relax and begin to enjoy this breathtaking city with beautiful streets, monumental buildings, and gastronomy that will not disappoint you.
Lisbon is the stunning capital of Portugal and is one of the most charismatic and vibrant cities in Europe. It is a city that effortlessly blends traditional heritage, with striking modernism and progressive thinking.
Greca Tip: Lisbon is probably best known for its colonialist history, ornate architecture, and tradition of Fado music. But some of its best features are in the everyday spectacular hilltop views in Alfama or at St. George's Castle, pleasant year-round weather, and friendly locals.

After a delicious breakfast, we will visit, accompanied by our local guide, the most important sites of this beautiful city of Lisbon, located at the mouth of the Tagus River.
Our first destination will be the Alfama district, which still retains its essence as a neighborhood with low houses and narrow streets. It is the oldest part of Lisbon and the most photogenic due to its graffiti and pastel-colored facades. Because of its labyrinthine structure, inherited from the Arabs, getting lost in its alleys is delightfully easy.
The Belém Tower, situated at the mouth of the Tagus Estuary, initially served as a defensive tower to protect the city, but later became a customs center and lighthouse. It was built between 1515 and 1519 and is the work of Francisco de Arruda. In 1983, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It is located very close to the Jerónimos Monastery, where we will continue our visit. Inside this monastery, we will find a church that houses the tombs of one of the most important figures in the history of Portugal: Vasco da Gama. This Portuguese navigator and explorer was responsible for circumnavigating the African continent to reach India, opening up what became known as the spice route for the Portuguese.
We will have the afternoon free to continue exploring the most precious corners of the city, which is known for being one of the most vibrant cities in Western Europe. Its hills dazzle with the multitude of colors that paint the facades of the houses, as well as its castles and medieval constructions.
Greca Tip: Visit the National Tile Museum, where you can learn about the history of this art that is reflected in all the streets and buildings of the city.

After enjoying breakfast, we head to the designated meeting point in Lisbon to begin our journey towards the Spanish border at 07:15 am. Leaving the Portuguese capital behind, we travel through changing landscapes until we reach Mérida, one of Spain’s most remarkable archaeological treasures.
Upon arrival, you will have free time to explore its impressive Roman heritage at your own pace. Highlights include the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre, both declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites, silent witnesses to the city’s importance during the Roman Empire. Time will also be available for lunch at leisure, allowing you to relax and soak in the historic atmosphere.
In the afternoon, we continue our journey along the legendary “Autovía de la Plata” (Silver Route), a historic corridor once used by the Romans, as we make our way south into Andalusia. We will arrive in the vibrant city of Seville in the evening. At the end of the day, we will go to our hotel to enjoy an included dinner and have some rest.
Greca Tip: In Mérida, try to imagine the echoes of ancient performances while standing near the Roman Theatre—its exceptional preservation makes it one of the most evocative Roman sites in the Iberian Peninsula.

After enjoying breakfast, we begin the day with a panoramic city sightseeing tour that introduces you to the essence of Seville, a city where history, art, and tradition blend seamlessly.
During the morning, we will admire María Luisa Park and the magnificent Plaza de España, a true architectural icon. We will continue with views of the exterior of Seville Cathedral, one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the world, and its iconic bell tower, La Giralda.
Our walk then leads us into the charming Santa Cruz quarter, the former Jewish neighborhood, where narrow alleys, hidden squares, and flower-filled patios reveal the city’s most authentic atmosphere.
At midday, you will have free time for lunch at your leisure, an ideal opportunity to enjoy Sevillian gastronomy or simply relax.
In the afternoon, you may choose to enhance your experience with optional activities, such as a relaxing cruise along the Guadalquivir River, offering panoramic views of the Torre del Oro and the Expo ’92 area, or a visit to the historic Maestranza Bullring. In the evening, another optional highlight is attending a traditional flamenco show, where music, song, and dance express the soul of Andalusia.
At the end of the day, return to the hotel for accommodation and rest.
Greca Tip: In Seville, try to experience flamenco in an intimate setting — beyond the performance, it is a powerful expression of Andalusian identity and emotion that stays with you long after the music ends.

After a delicious breakfast, departure along the White Towns Route towards our next destination: Ronda. We will enjoy some free time to get to know this beautiful Andalusian town.
The most famous monument in the town is the Puente Nuevo. This iconic bridge spans the El Tajo Gorge and connects the old Moorish town with the newer part of Ronda. It offers breathtaking views of the gorge below.
Later, we will leave for the Costa del Sol, where we will have dinner and spent overnight.
Greca Tip: The American writer Ernest Hemingway was enamored with Ronda and its bullfighting traditions. He visited the town several times and mentioned it in his novel "For Whom the Bell Tolls." Hemingway's presence in Ronda has left a lasting legacy, and there are places in the town that honor his memory.

After breakfast, we depart from the Costa del Sol and head toward the port to board the ferry crossing the legendary Strait of Gibraltar, a natural gateway between Europe and Africa. As we sail across these historic waters, a new continent and a new culture gradually unfold before us.
Upon arrival in Tangier, we begin a guided panoramic tour to discover the city’s surroundings, where Atlantic and Mediterranean influences blend seamlessly. We will admire Cape Spartel, the symbolic point where the two seas meet, and view the famous Grottos of Hercules (entrance not included), steeped in myth and legend.
You will then enjoy free time to soak in the lively atmosphere of Tangier, explore its streets, or relax with a mint tea while observing daily life. For those who wish, an optional excursion to Tetouan is available, offering further insight into Morocco’s rich Andalusian heritage.
At the end of the day, we return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay, resting after an unforgettable introduction to Morocco.
Greca Tip: In Tangier, try a traditional mint tea accompanied by Moroccan pastries—it’s a simple yet authentic way to connect with local culture.

After a tasty breakfast, we will leave for Volubilis, an ancient Roman city located in Morocco, near the city of Meknes and about 30 kilometers north of the modern city of Fez. It was founded in the 3rd century BC and later became an important Roman settlement in North Africa. Today, Volubilis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the best-preserved Roman ruins in North Africa.
We will continue our way to Meknes, a World Heritage Site and one of the four imperial cities along with Marrakesh, Fez and Rabat and the ancient capital of Morocco. You will visit this fortified city starting with its walls and its magnificent gates (bab, in Moroccan): Bab el Mansur, the largest gate in the country and in North Africa, the Agdal Pond, built for irrigation in the area, the Plaza Bab Lahdim, epicenter of the city's activity.
Finally, we will arrive in Fez, where we will stay and have dinner.
Greca Tip: Founded in the 11th century by the Almoravid dynasty, Meknes later became the capital of Morocco during the reign of Sultan Moulay Ismail in the 17th century. Under Moulay Ismail's rule, Meknes experienced significant growth and development, with the construction of grand palaces, mosques, and defensive walls, earning it the nickname "Versailles of Morocco."

After enjoying breakfast, we set out to discover Fes, the first of Morocco’s imperial cities and its intellectual and spiritual heart. Our day begins with a panoramic drive from the hotel, offering an introduction to the city before reaching the imposing Royal Palace (Dar Al-Makhzen), renowned for its monumental seven golden gates.
We then step into the extraordinary world of Fes El Bali, the oldest and largest medina in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Entering through Bab Boujloud, we begin a fascinating journey through time, walking along narrow alleys that have remained unchanged for centuries. From the 9th to the 19th century, history unfolds as we explore bustling squares, hidden streets, and traditional neighborhoods shaped by artisan guilds. Along the way, we will observe age-old crafts, including leather tanning, tailoring, and copperwork, still practiced as they were generations ago.
Our visit also includes a traditional Medersa, a former Islamic school that reflects the city’s rich scholarly past. The rhythmic sound of hammers shaping copper will mark the end of our guided walk, leaving a lasting impression of Fes’ living heritage.
At midday, we enjoy lunch at a typical local restaurant, followed by a free afternoon to relax or continue exploring at your own pace. At the end of the day, we return to the hotel for accommodation and rest.
Greca Tip: In Fes, pause for a moment inside the medina and simply listen — the echoes of daily life, prayers, and craftsmen at work create an atmosphere that feels like stepping into another century.

After a tasty breakfast, we will continue our way to Casablanca, where we will have free time to visit the best places of the city such us Boulevard of the Corniche, the seafront promenade and the coastal road, through which you reach Anfa (old quarters of the historic city), a famous neighborhood in which its luxurious houses stand out.
Another must in the city is the Great Mosque of Hassan II, a monumental and modern work (sliding roof and resistance to earthquakes) that holds the title of the third-largest mosque in the world after Mecca and Medina. It is the most representative monument of the 20th century in the city.
In the afternoon, we will continue to Marrakech, where we will have dinner and stay overnight.
Greca Tip: Being a coastal city, Casablanca is renowned for its fresh seafood. Don't miss out on dishes like grilled sardines, fried calamari, or fish tagine cooked with aromatic spices and herbs.

After breakfast, we set out to explore Marrakesh, one of Morocco’s most captivating imperial cities, where tradition, color, and rhythm come together in a truly unforgettable atmosphere. Our visit begins near the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, once associated with a historic library and today the unmistakable symbol of the city, dominating the skyline with its elegant minaret.
We then continue to the magnificent Bahia Palace, a masterpiece of 19th-century architecture built by hundreds of skilled artisans from Fes. Its courtyards, gardens, and richly decorated rooms reflect the splendor of Morocco’s royal past.
Our journey goes on through the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah), passing by Kissaria Square until we reach the legendary Jemaa el-Fna Square, a true open-air stage and UNESCO-listed Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Storytellers, snake charmers, musicians, dancers, and performers transform the square into a living museum, full of energy and tradition.
From here, we wander through the bustling souks, navigating narrow alleys lined with shops, workshops, and terraces. We discover traditional guilds such as carpenters and metal sharpeners, and visit a Berber pharmacy offering natural remedies made mainly from argan oil and its derivatives.
We return to the square, where you will have some free time before lunch at a traditional restaurant. At the end of the day, we head back to the hotel to rest and enjoy the evening.
Greca Tip: In Marrakesh, try a freshly prepared mint tea in Jemaa el-Fna at sunset—the changing colors and lively atmosphere offer one of the most authentic experiences in the city.

After enjoying breakfast, we depart Marrakesh and travel north toward Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital, an elegant imperial city and the official residence of the royal family. As landscapes change along the way, we approach a city where history and modern governance coexist in perfect balance.
Upon arrival, our visit begins with the emblematic Hassan Tower, the unfinished minaret that dominates a vast esplanade framed by more than 200 columns. Nearby, we explore the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, an architectural masterpiece honoring the sultan who led Morocco to independence. Here, the royal guards in ceremonial dress, mounted on horseback, add a striking sense of tradition and dignity to the site.
We then enjoy a leisurely walk through the Kasbah of the Oudayas, a serene quarter of white-and-blue houses overlooking the Atlantic, followed by a stroll along the promenade by the Bouregreg River, where Rabat reveals its calmer, more poetic side.
In the evening, we experience Rabat from a different perspective during a night tour of the city, before sitting down to an included dinner at a local restaurant. At the end of the day, we return to the hotel to rest and enjoy our accommodation.
Greca Tip: In the Kasbah of the Oudayas, take a moment to admire the contrast between the deep blue of the Atlantic and the whitewashed walls — it’s one of the most photogenic and peaceful corners of Rabat.

After breakfast, we will start our way back to the port of Tangier to embark in our ferry back to Costa del Sol.
We will arrive in our hotel in Torremolinos where we will have dinner and stay overnight.
Greca Tip: Take a stroll along the Paseo Marítimo (seafront promenade), which stretches for several kilometers along the coast. Enjoy stunning views of the sea, stop for a drink or meal at one of the many beachfront bars and restaurants, and soak up the lively atmosphere.

After enjoying breakfast, we depart the Costa del Sol and journey inland toward Granada, a city where centuries of history unfold at the foot of the Sierra Nevada. As we approach, the landscape gradually changes, setting the scene for one of the most evocative days of the journey.
Upon arrival, we visit the extraordinary Alhambra and Generalife, the former residence of the Moorish kings and one of the greatest masterpieces of Islamic art in Europe. As we walk through its palaces, courtyards, and gardens, we admire the delicate arches, intricate decorations, and the soothing sound of fountains that reflect the refinement of the Nasrid dynasty. The Generalife gardens, once a place of rest and inspiration for the sultans, offer a serene contrast with panoramic views over Granada.
In the evening, those who wish may join an optional visit to the caves of Sacromonte, followed by a traditional gypsy flamenco show, where music, rhythm, and emotion come together in an unforgettable cultural experience.
At the end of the day, we return to the hotel to enjoy an included dinner and a well-deserved rest.
Greca Tip: While exploring the Alhambra, pause for a moment in the Generalife gardens and listen to the water flowing through the channels — it was designed not only for beauty, but also to bring calm and balance to those who lived there centuries ago.

After enjoying breakfast, we depart Granada and set out toward the Imperial City of Toledo, a place where history unfolds at every turn. Traveling north through the heart of Spain, we arrive in this former capital, renowned for its extraordinary cultural and architectural legacy shaped by centuries of coexistence between Christian, Jewish, and Muslim traditions.
Upon arrival, we enjoy an included lunch, followed by a stop at the Mirador del Valle, where a breathtaking panoramic view reveals Toledo rising majestically above the Tagus River — a perfect moment for photographs and quiet contemplation.
We then continue with a walk through the historic old town, wandering along its narrow streets, lively squares, and ancient façades that transform the city into an open-air museum.
In the afternoon, we resume our journey to Madrid. Arrival is scheduled for the evening, when we head to the hotel to rest after a day rich in history and memorable landscapes.
