Upon arrival at the Marrakech airport, you will be greeted by an English-speaking assistant to provide you with all the necessary information for your stay in the city and accompany you in the transfer to the hotel in one of our private vehicles and help you with registration. The rest of the day will be to relax and enjoy the city at your own pace.

Marrakech is one of the most important cities in Morocco and one of the four imperial cities along with Meknes, Fez and Rabat. Founded in 1062, it was one of the country's capitals and has the largest traditional market in the region and one of the busiest squares on the continent and in the world.

After a delicious breakfast, you will begin your visit to the city of Marrakech: You will start with the Menara Gardens, on the outskirts of the city. It is a 14-hectare park in the center of which is an immense 12th-century pond. Later you will go to the city center to see the majestic Koutoubia minaret, twin tower of the Giralda in Seville.

You will also visit the Bahia Palace built in the 19th century, the Berber Pharmacy, where you will find all kinds of natural remedies. The visit will end in a magical place: the Yemaa el Fna (People's Assembly) Square, declared a World Heritage Site.

In the morning you will find sellers of orange juice and other fruit, wicker baskets, souvenirs, sweets, jewelry, dentists, healers, commissioned writers. Finished your  fabulous breakfast you will go to the mountains of the High Atlas via the Col de Tizi N'Tichka. The road will change the color of the landscapes, from the strong green of the valleys, to the ocher red of the Col de Tizi N'Tichka until reaching Ouarzazate (the door to the desert), a small commercial point in the journey of African merchants to reach the north of Morocco and Europe. During the French colonial period it served as a supply city, administrative center, customs office and base for the French aviation. After a typical and tasty Moroccan breakfast you will go to one of the most beautiful landscapes of the trip "the Todra Gorges" and one of the most spectacular rocky canyons in the world, a place of great reputation among climbers. Then you will go to Erfoud, an increasingly difficult path but it will be worth it just to see that the towns we will pass through will be more and more authentic as you enter the lands of the people of the desert. Erfoud is considered the gateway to the desert and an ancient trading center. You will visit a fossil extraction center and we will be surprised to discover the incredible amount of aquatic life that existed in the past. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Before breakfast you will have the option, if the clouds allows, to contemplate the beautiful spectacle of sunrise over a sea of ​​dunes with another camel ride. Later, after a nutritious traditional breakfast, you will get into our 4x4 vehicle to head to Rissani, 22 km from Erfoud, a small and attractive city both for its surroundings and for its history. Its market and its famous donkey parking stand out, which show you an authentic Morocco that has several monuments of interest. It is considered the heiress of the mythical Sidjilmasa, the ancient Berber capital city of Tafilalet.

Next you will go to Al Nif (known by gemologists and mineralogists from all over the world for being the place where the most meteorites and trilobites have been found), where along the way you will be able to observe herds of wild camels and an impressive semi-lunar landscape. You will also pass through Nkob, one of the oases that close the passage to the desert.

Later you will arrive in Agdez where you will stop to enjoy the beauty of the Draa Valley with its supernatural palm grove and its river to then continue along the possibly most beautiful road in Morocco to Ouarzazate, where you will have dinner and stay.

Tip Greca: It is almost an obligation to try the dates of the Boufegoous variety in the oasis of Nkob.

Ouarzazate, known as "the door of the desert", is close to the Atlas Mountains and was a small trading point on the journey of African traders to reach northern Morocco and Europe. During the French colonial period it served as a supply city, administrative center, customs office and base for the French aviation. The most important film studios in Morocco (Atlas Studios), the largest in the world, are also located here. The tour begins at Larissa train station in central Athens, where you will board the train at 07:20 am to Kalambaka station (Meteora). Enjoy a picturesque train journey through the beautiful Greek countryside and at around 11:30 am you will arrive in Kalambaka. Your driver will be waiting for you to welcome and transfer you to your hotel.

In the afternoon, you will begin your sunset tour of the area, starting from one of the six operating monasteries of Meteora, Agios Stefanos or Roussanou. You will visit the oldest standing monument, the Byzantine church of Virgin Mary located in the old town of Kalambaka. This church, built in the early Christian period and with ancient marble embedded in its walls, tells the story of the city spanning 27 centuries. You will then head to the ancient hermitages of Badovas, hear about the stories and legends and enjoy the breath-taking panoramic views.   As the sun begins to set, slowly descending upon the mountain ridges, you will climb to the top of the Meteora rocks, a magical place, for a pure, joyous and uninterrupted experience.  Up there, you will feel the night breeze blowing amidst these cliffs and you will fill your senses with the splendour of nature. This will be the perfect way to end a beautiful day at Meteora. After sunset, you will return to your accommodation and enjoy a good rest.

Dress code in the monasteries: Sleeveless shirts and shorts are not permitted. Visitors can use the skirts, shawls and trousers available at the entrance of the monasteries, in the event that they do not carry appropriate clothing to cover themselves with.

Greca Tip: Roam the maze-like cobblestone lanes of the old centre and shop around for local handmade embroidery, leather sandals and carved wooden handicrafts.

KALAMBAKA - MORNING TOUR AND THEN BACK TO ATHENS

After a delicious breakfast, we will meet you at the lobby of your hotel to begin an unforgettable morning tour of Meteora.

You will learn which monastery was the first to become established and the reasons behind the monks' decision to try to climb the steep rocks and build the monasteries there. In the panoramic tour that will follow you will enjoy the incredible views and have the chance to take photos of the magnificent scenery.

At around 16:45, your driver will pick you up to transfer you to the train station. At 17:15 the train leaves Kalambaka and arrives in Athens at about 21:30 and one of our drivers will transfer you to your hotel . 

Greca Tip: Add extra nights during step 1 of 3 of your reservation to make the most of your stay at each destination.  From Kalambaka you can even travel to Thessaloniki instead of returning to Athens (train connection at Palaiofarsalo).

Early in the morning, one of our private vehicles will be waiting for you with your assistant to transfer you to the port of Piraeus, where you will board the ferry to Naxos. Upon your arrival one of our representatives will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel and explain a little more about the island.

The rest of the day will be free for you to immerse yourself in the relaxed lifestyle of the friendly islanders. We recommend that you take the day tour to Chora, the island's capital and watch the sunset at the spectacular Portara, the gateway to the temple of Apollo.

Tip Greca: Don not forget to taste Musaka, a typical island dish made with eggplants, meat and tomatoes.

ENJOYING NAXOS, THE LARGEST OF THE CYCLADES

After an exquisite breakfast, you will have a free day to explore the largest island of the Cyclades at your own pace. We recommend using this day to visit the Ancient temple dedicated to Dimitra, sister of Zeus, goddess of wheat and agriculture and protector of the cycle of the seasons. This temple is in fact located in the middle of the island's cultivated fields. You can also visit the town of Vivlos, famous for its three windmills or Filoti, a very interesting and picturesque little village. If you prefer to walk by the beach, you can do so due to their large number and variety, while you would not even have to go far from the town itself. Among others we suggest that you visit Pyrgaki, Aliko, Hawaii Beach or Plaka.

Greca Tip: If you like trekking and are well prepared for it, you can ascend Monte Zas, the birthplace of Zeus himself!

After enjoying a tasty breakfast, one of our vehicles will pick you up at the agreed time to drive you to the port of Naxos, where you will continue on to your next destination, the island which is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, Santorini. Approaching the island, you will have the opportunity to admire the capital city of Fira, with its white houses overhanging the cliffside and facing the volcano.

Upon your arrival, one of our English-speaking representatives will be waiting for you at the port to welcome you, direct you to your hotel and comment a little more on the treasures of this picturesque island. The rest of the day is free to wander through its narrow streets and become part of the famous animated scene.

Greca Tip: Sit back and enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world from one of the coffee shops in glamorous Oia.

DISCOVERING SANTORINI

Free day to explore, at your own pace, this magical island, considered to be the lost continent of Atlantis. The name of the island was given by the Venetian Giacomo Barozzi due to the presence of a chapel dedicated to Saint Eirini. His descendants remained until 1576, when the island became part of the Duchy of Naxos and until the Turkish conquest by Piyale Pasha.

Optionally, you may choose to go on a dazzling sailboat tour that will take you over to the small islands of the caldera, Nea and Palea Kameni, with the hot springs of green and yellow waters.

Greca Tip: On this free day, we recommend exploring the island, tasting its wine and its excellent local cuisine. We cannot miss tasting the tomatokeftedes (a kind of tomato balls), the fava dishes (a vegetable smaller than a pea) and the cheese called Chloro.

At the agreed time, you will be transferred to the Santorini Airport, where you will board your flight back to Athens.

Your arrival at the airport will conveniently coincide with your international flight, which should preferably depart after 12:30 pm.
